elementor-clearfix\"><p>La\u00a0<strong>Fuerza A\u00e9rea Colombiana<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>FAC<\/strong>), ha seleccionado al helic\u00f3ptero <strong>Leonardo<\/strong>\u00a0AW-139, como nueva aeronave para uso presidencial y en reemplazo del\u00a0<strong>Bell Helicopter<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Textron<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Company<\/strong>) 412 EP-VIP FAC-006, accidentado en octubre de 2019.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Compra por P\u00f3lizas:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En efecto y en un comunicado, la FAC ha anunciado la escogencia de esta aeronave luego de hacer efectivas las p\u00f3lizas de seguro del FAC-006. En este sentido y con base en la informaci\u00f3n obtenida y suministrada por la Fuerza A\u00e9rea, as\u00ed como por la investigaci\u00f3n realizada por la compa\u00f1\u00eda aseguradora, se habr\u00eda accedido al pago de las respectivas p\u00f3lizas, que habr\u00edan sido reconocidas en valores de 11.400.000 d\u00f3lares (cifra por confirmar), sumas que ser\u00e1n destinadas (en parte o en su totalidad) a la adquisici\u00f3n y posterior acondicionamiento (VIP) del helic\u00f3ptero, que podr\u00e1 ser desplegado para abril del pr\u00f3ximo 2021.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>De primera mano:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>De hecho y en marzo pasado la FAC estvo visitando las instalaciones de varias compa\u00f1ias de transporte aereo en Colombia, entre ellas Helistar SAS, para conocer esta aeronave, aunque esta fuerza le ha confirmado a Zona-Militar que el helicoptero es nuevo.<\/p>\n<p>Es de anotar que los AW-139 est\u00e1n acondicionados para transportar hasta 12 pasajeros en configuraci\u00f3n VIP mas 2 tripulantes, con una autonom\u00eda de hasta 5 horas, disponiendo del sistema Honeywell Primus Epic, as\u00ed como del sistema digital de Control Autom\u00e1tico de Vuelo (AFCS) de 4 ejes, contando con los motores Pratt &amp; Whitney PT6C-67C que generan cada uno 1.679 SHP certificado para operaciones categor\u00eda A, disponiendo adem\u00e1s del sistema de absorci\u00f3n energ\u00eda a impactos y tren de aterrizaje retr\u00e1ctil.<\/p>\n<p>Estos helic\u00f3pteros disponen de aire acondicionado, sistemas Skytrack, ELT de despliegue autom\u00e1tico, Tcas, as\u00ed como con los equipos de navegaci\u00f3n VOR, ADF, GPS, DME, EGPWS, FMS, TAWS y radar meteorol\u00f3gico y ser\u00e1 dotado de medidas de protecci\u00f3n activa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: Zona
