El mayor Andr\u00e9s Ascazubi, comandante del escuadr\u00f3n, destaca que su amplio alcance operativo va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del rescate en combate:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGracias a la versatilidad del H145, tambi\u00e9n realizamos misiones de transporte, reconocimiento, evacuaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, vigilancia, transporte de carga externa y rescate con gr\u00faa siempre que se requiera en todo el pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El capit\u00e1n Carlos Pacheco Morales describe este alcance operativo como <em>\u201calta operatividad, 24 horas del d\u00eda, 365 d\u00edas del a\u00f1o. Para combatir las llamas, el escuadr\u00f3n utiliza los H145 equipados con el sistema Bambi Bucket, que realiza descargas de precisi\u00f3n de hasta 1200 litros de agua por lanzamiento. <em>\u201cPara m\u00ed, las misiones que m\u00e1s me han marcado han sido las de combate de incendios, ya que pudimos ayudar y salvar vidas en cuatro provincias diferentes del pa\u00eds\u201d<\/em>, relata el capit\u00e1n H\u00e9ctor Ignacio Loayza Godoy. <em>\u201cEn total, descargamos aproximadamente 30 000 litros de agua durante la temporada de incendios de 2025.
