sus actividades y aliviar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n la escasez global de capacidad de carga en la bodega, debida a la inmovilizaci\u00f3n generalizada de aviones de largo alcance a causa de la pandemia de COVID- 19. Asimismo, ayudar\u00e1 a la industria a hacer frente a la gran demanda de vuelos humanitarios para el transporte inmediato de grandes cantidades de equipos m\u00e9dicos y otros suministros a destinos de larga distancia donde resultan necesarios.\u00a0<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Comparada con la carga de bultos encima de los asientos, esta soluci\u00f3n de Airbus facilita unas operaciones de carga y descarga m\u00e1s sencillas y r\u00e1pidas, adem\u00e1s de un menor desgaste de los asientos. Otras ventajas que merecen ser destacadas son la seguridad adicional de una protecci\u00f3n contra incendios m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida y una fuerza de sujeci\u00f3n de la carga de 9g para evitar su desplazamiento en vuelo.\u00a0<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>La modificaci\u00f3n se ofrece a los operadores como paquete de Airbus Service Bulletin (SB). De esta manera, Airbus define el alcance de trabajo de ingenier\u00eda y se ocupa tambi\u00e9n del tr\u00e1mite para la obtenci\u00f3n del certificado espec\u00edfico de la Agencia Europea de Seguridad A\u00e9rea (EASA). Este paquete cubre la retirada de los asientos y del sistema IFE, la instalaci\u00f3n de los pal\u00e9s de carga y de los equipos de seguridad asociados, y la reinstalaci\u00f3n de los elementos de cabina originales para regresar a las operaciones con pasajeros.
