Esta nueva variante del NH90 TTH fue dise\u00f1ada espec\u00edficamente para operaciones especiales. Francia ha encargado un total de 18 helic\u00f3pteros NH90 Standard 2, que se entregar\u00e1n a mediados de 2029. Ser\u00e1n operados por el escuadr\u00f3n de fuerzas especiales de la Aviaci\u00f3n del Ej\u00e9rcito franc\u00e9s en Pau. En diciembre de 2025, Espa\u00f1a se uni\u00f3 al programa con un pedido de 31 NH90 de una versi\u00f3n similar.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNos sentimos honrados de entregar este NH90 Standard 2 a las Fuerzas Armadas francesas\u201d<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Matthieu Louvot, CEO de Airbus Helicopters. <em>\u201cEsta nueva versi\u00f3n se basa en las capacidades probadas del NH90 TTH e incorpora nuevas caracter\u00edsticas innovadoras dise\u00f1adas espec\u00edficamente para fuerzas especiales. Ahora m\u00e1s que nunca, los operadores de fuerzas especiales podr\u00e1n ejecutar sus misiones m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles en los entornos m\u00e1s adversos\u201d<\/em>, a\u00f1adi\u00f3. <em>\u201cNos complace enormemente que Espa\u00f1a se haya sumado al desarrollo de las caracter\u00edsticas que mejorar\u00e1n la percepci\u00f3n de la situaci\u00f3n de la tripulaci\u00f3n. Esto demuestra que este nuevo est\u00e1ndar del NH90 se est\u00e1 convirtiendo en la referencia para las fuerzas especiales de todo el mundo\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La configuraci\u00f3n Standard 2 incluye la integraci\u00f3n del sistema electro\u00f3ptico (EOS) Safran Euroflir 410 D, un nuevo generador de mapas digitales, la instalaci\u00f3n para un tercer miembro de la tripulaci\u00f3n y nuevas ventanas traseras correderas ampliadas con capacidad para albergar armas de autoprotecci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n incluye la posibilidad de una r\u00e1pida integraci\u00f3n del Sistema de Apertura Directa (DAS), actualmente en desarrollo, que proporciona una mejor visibilidad en condiciones de vuelo adversas (nieve, polvo, niebla), tanto de d\u00eda como de noche. Otras mejoras incluir\u00e1n el uso de un casco Thales TopOwl totalmente digital, capaz de mostrar simult\u00e1neamente im\u00e1genes del DAS y del EOS en la visera.<\/p>\n<p>El programa NH90 Standard 2 fue encargado en 2020 por la Agencia de Gesti\u00f3n de Helic\u00f3pteros de la OTAN (NAHEMA) a NHIndustries (NHI) y sus empresas asociadas (Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo y Fokker).<\/p>\n<p>NHIndustries es la mayor empresa conjunta de helic\u00f3pteros y es responsable del dise\u00f1o, la fabricaci\u00f3n y el soporte del helic\u00f3ptero NH90, uno de los l\u00edderes de la \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n de helic\u00f3pteros militares.
