class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>La Asociaci\u00f3n de Transporte A\u00e9reo Internacional (IATA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) ha anunciado el nombramiento de Saadia Zahidi como directora general a partir del 1 de noviembre de 2026. Zahidi ser\u00e1 la novena directora general de IATA y la primera mujer en ocupar este cargo. Actualmente, Zahidi es directora gerente del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial (WEF, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) y miembro de su Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Willie Walsh, actual director general de IATA, concluir\u00e1 su mandato el 31 de julio de 2026. Mientras, Sandrine Le Borgne, directora financiera y vicepresidenta s\u00e9nior de Servicios Corporativos de IATA, ocupar\u00e1 el cargo de directora general interina hasta la incorporaci\u00f3n de Zahidi.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n de IATA desea expresar su profunda satisfacci\u00f3n por el nombramiento de Saadia Zahidi como directora general de la organizaci\u00f3n.
