National d\u2019Etudes Spatiales, CNES) ha firmado recientemente con Airbus Defence and Space un contrato para el desarrollo y la fabricaci\u00f3n del instrumento infrarrojo t\u00e9rmico destinado al sat\u00e9lite TRISHNA.<\/p>\n<p>TRISHNA (Thermal infraRed Imaging Satellite for High resolution Natural resource Assessment) es el sat\u00e9lite m\u00e1s reciente de la flotilla conjunta entre Francia e India dedicada a la monitorizaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico y aplicaciones operacionales. CNES e ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) se han asociado para el desarrollo de un sistema de observaci\u00f3n en el espectro infrarrojo con alta resoluci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y elevada capacidad de revisita que incluye un sat\u00e9lite y el segmento terreno correspondiente.<\/p>\n<p>Las observaciones de TRISHNA contribuir\u00e1n a la comprensi\u00f3n del ciclo del agua y permitir\u00e1n acrecentar su gesti\u00f3n sostenible en todo el planeta para mejorar la definici\u00f3n del impacto del cambio clim\u00e1tico, especialmente, a escala local.<\/p>\n<p>En el reparto de esta asociaci\u00f3n internacional, ISRO proporcionar\u00e1 la plataforma, el instrumento infrarrojo en el campo visible y de onda corta y ser\u00e1 el contratista principal del ingenio espacial. Por su parte, CNES es corresponsable de la misi\u00f3n y proporcionar\u00e1 el instrumento infrarrojo t\u00e9rmico que desarrollar\u00e1 Airbus. La responsabilidad del segmento terreno ser\u00e1 compartida entre los dos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>Para esta misi\u00f3n, Airbus aprovechar\u00e1 las \u00faltimas innovaciones y sinergias de otros programas (IASI-NG, CO3D\u2026) para proponer un instrumento accesible y de altas restaciones, con el objetivo de favorecer un desarrollo para el mercado comercial.<\/p>\n<p>La medici\u00f3n de la temperatura de la superficie informa acerca del estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico y del uso de agua de la vegetaci\u00f3n. Este control de los ciclos h\u00eddricos y de la energ\u00eda representa uno de los principales objetivos de la misi\u00f3n que se aplicar\u00e1 especialmente en \u00e1mbitos como la agricultura y la hidrolog\u00eda. Esta misi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n servir\u00e1 a muchas otras aplicaciones: la vigilancia de las aguas continentales y costeras, el seguimiento de las concentraciones de calor en zonas urbanas, la monitorizaci\u00f3n de riesgos (detecci\u00f3n de incendios y actividad volc\u00e1nica), el estudio de la criosfera (glaciares, lagos helados) y el control de la radiaci\u00f3n en la atm\u00f3sfera.<\/p>\n<p>TRISHNA supone un importante paso adelante tanto en t\u00e9rminos de resoluci\u00f3n como de frecuencia de actualizaci\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con las actuales misiones. Adem\u00e1s, mejora las oportunidades de investigaci\u00f3n y favorece el avance del desarrollo de aplicaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras las actuales misiones se ve\u00edan limitadas hasta ahora por su resoluci\u00f3n (por encima de 1 km) y por su periodo de revisita de varias semanas, TRISHNA se ha dise\u00f1ado para realizar una imagen completa de la Tierra con una revisita de cada tres d\u00edas con una resoluci\u00f3n de 50 m, y un amplio rango de temperaturas observadas, desde -20\u00baC hasta +30\u00baC aproximadamente, y adem\u00e1s con una gran precisi\u00f3n (0,3\u00baC).<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Marc Nasr, responsable de Space Systems en Airbus afirm\u00f3: <em>\u201cGracias a misiones cient\u00edficas ambiciosas como TRISHNA, nuestra industria ha alcanzado una madurez tecnol\u00f3gica que abre paso a una nueva era en la observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra comercial y todas las aplicaciones relacionadas.
