De acuerdo con las cifras provisionales de la Oficina de Anal\u00edtica de la Aeron\u00e1utica Civil, entre enero y mayo de 2026 se movilizaron 24,3 millones de pasajeros y m\u00e1s de 427 mil toneladas de carga y correo, consolidando la recuperaci\u00f3n y expansi\u00f3n del sector.<\/p>\n<p>Durante mayo de 2026, se movilizaron 4,6 millones de pasajeros por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea, cifra superior en 237 mil viajeros frente al mismo mes de 2025, lo que representa un crecimiento del 5,4 %. En el acumulado de los primeros cinco meses del a\u00f1o, el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo alcanz\u00f3 los 24,3 millones de pasajeros, con un incremento del 7,2 % respecto al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n<p>En el mercado dom\u00e9stico, el n\u00famero de pasajeros creci\u00f3 7,65 % entre enero y mayo de 2026. Este comportamiento estuvo impulsado, entre otros factores, por una mayor movilidad asociada al a\u00f1o electoral. Asimismo, se destac\u00f3 el fortalecimiento de aerol\u00edneas como JetSmart y Wingo, que registraron incrementos en la demanda del 31 % y 19 %, respectivamente, ampliando su operaci\u00f3n en rutas estrat\u00e9gicas entre Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn y Cali, as\u00ed como hacia destinos como San Andr\u00e9s, Bucaramanga y Monter\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el mercado internacional report\u00f3 un crecimiento del 6,7 % durante el mismo periodo. Los destinos con mayores aumentos en la demanda fueron M\u00e9xico, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Brasil, Argentina, Canad\u00e1 y Venezuela. De igual manera, los visitantes provenientes de Espa\u00f1a, M\u00e9xico, Brasil y Argentina registraron los mayores incrementos de participaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h6>Transporte de carga y correo<\/h6>\n<p>En cuanto al transporte de carga y correo, durante mayo de 2026 se movilizaron 88.161 toneladas, lo que representa un aumento de 6,4 % frente al mismo mes del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Entre enero y mayo, el volumen total alcanz\u00f3 las 427.048 toneladas, con un crecimiento acumulado del 4,7 %.<\/p>\n<p>El segmento internacional de carga y correo mantuvo un desempe\u00f1o destacado, al movilizar 367.791 toneladas durante los primeros cinco meses del a\u00f1o, equivalentes a un incremento del 5,0 % respecto a 2025. La carga originada en Colombia represent\u00f3 el 63 % del total internacional y tuvo como principal destino a Estados Unidos, pa\u00eds que concentr\u00f3 el 44 % de las exportaciones a\u00e9reas. Las importaciones, por su parte, provinieron principalmente de Estados Unidos, Brasil y Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>En el mercado nacional, el transporte de carga y correo alcanz\u00f3 las 59.258 toneladas entre enero y mayo, con una variaci\u00f3n positiva del 2,8 % frente al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n<p>La Aeron\u00e1utica Civil de Colombia destaca estas cifras que reflejan la
