El presidente El-Sisi ha sido un l\u00edder que ha impulsado el crecimiento del sector, con una contribuci\u00f3n de USD$34.4 mil millones en 2025, as\u00ed como una impresionante cifra de 19 millones de visitantes que ingresaron al pa\u00eds.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl Canal de Suez no podr\u00eda ser un lugar m\u00e1s adecuado para el Crucero de Liderazgo del WTTC, al reunir a l\u00edderes del sector p\u00fablico y privado de todo el mundo para colaborar en la recuperaci\u00f3n global.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl WTTC tambi\u00e9n agradece al ministro de Turismo de Egipto y al ministro de Planificaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico por sus importantes contribuciones al crecimiento de Egipto y a este evento hist\u00f3rico.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La incomparable diversidad de Egipto se refleja en el importante incremento de los ingresos por turismo, que pasaron de USD$4.9 mil millones en 2020\/2021 a m\u00e1s de USD$18 mil millones en 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Con m\u00e1s de 2,000 kil\u00f3metros de playas de arena, Egipto ha emprendido una impresionante expansi\u00f3n de su infraestructura tur\u00edstica, con el objetivo de duplicar el n\u00famero de habitaciones de hotel disponibles, pasando de 240,000 actualmente, as\u00ed como duplicar la capacidad a\u00e9rea en sus 27 aeropuertos. Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 invirtiendo en infraestructura ferroviaria de alta velocidad.<\/p>\n<p>La capital egipcia, El Cairo, abri\u00f3 recientemente el impresionante Gran Museo Egipcio, que re\u00fane m\u00e1s de 100,000 artefactos, de los cuales 20,000 se exhiben por primera vez.
