Internacional de Transporte A\u00e9reo (IATA).<\/p>\n<p>La previsi\u00f3n, que considera un escenario en el que los l\u00edmites sanitarios al transporte a\u00e9reo se prolonguen entre abril y junio, tambi\u00e9n vaticina que las aerol\u00edneas se ver\u00e1n obligadas a gastar en ese trimestre 61.000 millones de d\u00f3lares de sus reservas de efectivo para hacer frente a las indemnizaciones a pasajeros y otros gastos.<\/p>\n<p>Los ingresos en el segundo semestre, siempre seg\u00fan la IATA, caer\u00edan un 68%, algo menos que la demanda de pasajeros, dado que el transporte a\u00e9reo de carga ha reducido en menor medida sus operaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Las malas cifras sectoriales podr\u00edan paliarse parcialmente por la ca\u00edda de los precios del petr\u00f3leo y por consiguiente del fuel, y en ese sentido la IATA espera que ello contribuya a una reducci\u00f3n del 31% en los costes variables del sector, insuficiente para compensar las p\u00e9rdidas de ingresos.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Las aerol\u00edneas no pueden reducir sus costes lo suficiente como para no sufrir el impacto de esta crisis&#8221;, analiz\u00f3 el director general de la IATA, Alexandre de Juniac, quien consider\u00f3 &#8220;devastadora&#8221; la previsi\u00f3n de p\u00e9rdidas para el segundo trimestre.<\/p>\n<p>La IATA ya predijo con anterioridad que la crisis generada por el COVID-19 causar\u00eda este a\u00f1o una ca\u00edda de la demanda del transporte a\u00e9reo global del 38%, y 252.000 millones de d\u00f3lares menos de ingresos en 2020 con respecto a 2019.<\/p>\n<p>La asociaci\u00f3n que agrupa a cerca de 300 aerol\u00edneas de todo el mundo celebr\u00f3 por otro lado que algunos gobiernos ya hayan aprobado medidas para paliar la crisis en su sector a\u00e9reo, por ejemplo flexibilizando las pol\u00edticas de indemnizaci\u00f3n a pasajeros, entre ellos los de EEUU, Colombia, China, Australia o Noruega.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agencia EFE \/ La
