del M-346 contin\u00faa fortaleci\u00e9ndose, con pedidos que totalizan casi 160 aeronaves; el modelo ha sido elegido por 20 pa\u00edses para entrenamiento avanzado o como caza ligero aeronaves multimisi\u00f3n M-346 a la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Austr\u00edaca (Luftstreitkr\u00e4fte), en respuesta a las necesidades de defensa del espacio a\u00e9reo y del territorio nacional de Austria, as\u00ed como para el entrenamiento de sus pilotos militares.<\/p>\n<p>El contrato contempla aeronaves suministradas en la configuraci\u00f3n de caza ligero bajo el nuevo est\u00e1ndar M-346 F Block 20, equipadas con cabinas con Pantalla de \u00c1rea Amplia (LAD), radar de barrido electr\u00f3nico activo, enlace de datos Link 16, contramedidas electr\u00f3nicas y nuevos sistemas de armamento. El suministro tambi\u00e9n incluye un conjunto completo de sistemas de simulaci\u00f3n, un stock inicial de repuestos, equipos de tierra y apoyo log\u00edstico y de mantenimiento durante seis a\u00f1os a partir de la entrega de la primera aeronave.<\/p>\n<p>Este nuevo avance se suma a dos contratos ya firmados en 2022 y 2023 para el suministro de 36 (18 + 18) helic\u00f3pteros AW169M LUHs (Light Utility Helicopter) al Ministerio de Defensa de Austria. Tambi\u00e9n responde a la decisi\u00f3n del Ministerio de Defensa austr\u00edaco de confiar a la IFTS (International Flight Training School), con sede en Decimomannu, Italia, para la formaci\u00f3n de sus pilotos de caza, decisi\u00f3n que permiti\u00f3 apreciar plenamente las caracter\u00edsticas y cualidades operativas del M-346, columna vertebral de la escuela.<\/p>\n<p>Stefano Bortoli, director general de la Divisi\u00f3n de Aeron\u00e1utica de Leonardo, declar\u00f3: <em>\u201cEstamos extremadamente orgullosos del lanzamiento del programa M-346 de Austria y somos conscientes del valor que la sinergia entre las instituciones nacionales y la industria puede generar para responder a las nuevas necesidades de los pa\u00edses amigos, como ya hemos visto en el pasado. Responde a la necesidad de versatilidad operativa que imponen los escenarios actuales, que exigen capacidad de respuesta y adaptabilidad, una creciente digitalizaci\u00f3n, una gesti\u00f3n eficiente de los nuevos activos de defensa, complementariedad e interoperabilidad, y una formaci\u00f3n adecuada del personal\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>En Austria, el M-346 F Block 20 reemplazar\u00e1 al Saab 105, retirado del servicio en 2020, en la doble funci\u00f3n de caza para operaciones de baja intensidad y entrenador avanzado. La plataforma de Leonardo ofrece simult\u00e1neamente un sistema completo e integrado de entrenamiento avanzado de vuelo -que incluye un GBTS (Ground Based Training System), elementos y escenarios simulados combinados con vuelos reales conforme a una l\u00f3gica Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC)- junto con capacidades adicionales de combate ligero para misiones aire-aire y aire-superficie, gracias a los avanzados sistemas de misi\u00f3n, equipos y sensores, incluida la capacidad de reabastecimiento en vuelo.<\/p>\n<p>El M-346 es el elemento central de un sistema de entrenamiento avanzado de vuelo de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n y en continua evoluci\u00f3n que ya ha demostrado su eficacia: una historia de \u00e9xito que acumula m\u00e1s de 150.000 horas de vuelo, con casi 160 aeronaves vendidas hasta la fecha, permitiendo a varias fuerzas a\u00e9reas de Europa y del mundo entrenar pilotos para operar cazas de alto rendimiento como el Eurofighter, el F-35 y los sistemas de combate a\u00e9reo de pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, 20 pa\u00edses ya entrenan a sus pilotos en el M-346 o han elegido esta aeronave, en su versi\u00f3n de caza, como caza ligero multimisi\u00f3n.
