regi\u00f3n alcanz\u00f3 35,8 millones, 2,5% m\u00e1s que en septiembre 2024, equivalente a 874 mil pasajeros adicionales. El incremento se concentr\u00f3 \u00edntegramente en el tr\u00e1fico intra-regional, impulsado por los mercados dom\u00e9sticos de Brasil y Argentina, que representaron 87% del crecimiento neto.<\/p>\n<p>La oferta de vuelos creci\u00f3 0,7% interanual, mientras que la capacidad total (asientos) aument\u00f3 1,8%, reflejando el uso de aeronaves de mayor tama\u00f1o, con un promedio de 160 asientos por vuelo frente a 158 en septiembre 2024.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Resumen de indicadores <\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>La capacidad medida en asientos-kil\u00f3metro disponibles (ASK) creci\u00f3 3,4% interanual.<\/li>\n<li>La demanda, en pasajeros-kil\u00f3metro transportados (RPK), aument\u00f3 2,9% interanual.<\/li>\n<li>El factor de ocupaci\u00f3n promedio fue de 83,6%.<\/li>\n<li>En el acumulado enero-septiembre, el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo en LAC alcanz\u00f3 354.2 millones de pasajeros, lo que representa un crecimiento del 3.8% vs. el mismo periodo de 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Brasil y Argentina lideraron el crecimiento de pasajeros <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Brasil fue el mercado que m\u00e1s contribuy\u00f3 al crecimiento regional en septiembre, con 838 mil pasajeros adicionales (+8,4% interanual). El mercado dom\u00e9stico alcanz\u00f3 un r\u00e9cord hist\u00f3rico para septiembre (8,5 millones de pasajeros, +7,7% interanual), siendo nuevamente el mercado dom\u00e9stico con mayor crecimiento entre los seis m\u00e1s grandes del mundo, seg\u00fan IATA. El segmento internacional aument\u00f3 11,2% impulsado por la llegada de m\u00e1s de 451.350 turistas internacionales v\u00eda a\u00e9rea, un 26,6 % m\u00e1s que en el mismo mes del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Argentina, tambi\u00e9n mostr\u00f3 un desempe\u00f1o s\u00f3lido, con un crecimiento de 13,4% interanual (dom\u00e9stico +11,7%, internacional +15,4%). Fue el septiembre con mayor tr\u00e1fico en la historia, superando en 9% el nivel de septiembre 2019. Entre enero y septiembre, Argentina acumula 24,5 millones de pasajeros (+15% interanual).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Moderada contracci\u00f3n en M\u00e9xico, Colombia y Chile contrasta con la fortaleza de Brasil y Argentina<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Los tres mercados, que ocupan el 2\u00ba, 3\u00ba y 6\u00ba lugar por volumen de pasajeros en la regi\u00f3n, registraron una contracci\u00f3n conjunta del 0,7% interanual frente a septiembre 2024, restando cerca de 110 mil pasajeros al total regional.<\/p>\n<p>En M\u00e9xico el tr\u00e1fico total lleg\u00f3 a 8,5 millones de pasajeros (-0,2% interanual), con un aumento marginal del 1,1% en el mercado dom\u00e9stico y un descenso del 1,9% en el segmento internacional. El tr\u00e1fico con Estados Unidos, el tercer par de pa\u00edses m\u00e1s grande de la regi\u00f3n decreci\u00f3 en 3,5% interanual, tras el leve repunte visto en agosto.\u00a0 En contraste, el tr\u00e1fico entre M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1, que representa el 36% del total de pasajeros de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe hacia Canad\u00e1, creci\u00f3 13,1% tras la leve contracci\u00f3n registrada en agosto.<\/p>\n<p>En Colombia el tr\u00e1fico total descendi\u00f3 0,4% interanual, acumulando dos meses consecutivos de ca\u00edda. El mercado dom\u00e9stico cay\u00f3 2,4% interanual, mientras el internacional aument\u00f3 2,4%, impulsado por el aumento del 7,6% en la cantidad de vuelos operados con Panam\u00e1 (+6,5), Per\u00fa (14,3%) y Ecuador (18%). Durante los primeros 9 meses del a\u00f1o, el tr\u00e1fico domestico en Colombia \u00fanicamente ha presentado un aumento interanual durante enero (+3,5%) y julio (+0,6%). En los restantes 7 meses, el mercado dom\u00e9stico colombiano ha presentado ca\u00eddas y en el acumulado enero-septiembre se ha reducido en 2% respecto a 2024. En ese mismo periodo 6 de las 10 rutas dom\u00e9sticas m\u00e1s importantes registraron descensos interanuales<\/p>\n<p>Chile tuvo en septiembre de 2025 su segundo resultado negativo del a\u00f1o en pasajeros totales (\u20133,2% interanual). El tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico, que represento el 57% del total, cay\u00f3 3,3%, mientras que el internacional tuvo el primer resultado negativo de 2025, cayendo 3,1% interanual.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl crecimiento de septiembre se concentr\u00f3 en mercados dom\u00e9sticos y rutas regionales, con Brasil liderando el aumento. Sin embargo, este impulso podr\u00eda frenarse si avanzan medidas que limitan la libertad comercial, como el proyecto de Ley N.\u00ba 5.041\/2025. La aviaci\u00f3n latinoamericana necesita pol\u00edticas que promuevan competencia y eficiencia, no regulaciones que encarezcan el servicio y reduzcan la elecci\u00f3n del pasajero\u201d<\/em>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Peter Cerd\u00e1, CEO de ALTA.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Panam\u00e1 y Rep\u00fablica Dominicana impulsan el crecimiento en Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribe <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En Centroam\u00e9rica, el tr\u00e1fico desde y hacia la subregi\u00f3n creci\u00f3 5,6% interanual, liderado por Panam\u00e1 (+9,3%, 1,72 millones de pasajeros). Le siguieron Costa Rica (+4%) y Guatemala (+2,9%). El Salvador, el tercer mercado m\u00e1s importante de Centroam\u00e9rica tuvo una reducci\u00f3n interanual del 5,6%<\/p>\n<p>En el Caribe, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana lidero el crecimiento, con 1,22 millones de pasajeros lo que representa un incremento del 2,9% interanual.
