La soluci\u00f3n se implementar\u00e1 en el Centro principal de Control de Tr\u00e1fico A\u00e9reo (ATC) del Aeropuerto Internacional OR Tambo de Johannesburgo e incluir\u00e1 un centro de desastres y recuperaci\u00f3n para garantizar la continuidad operativa, as\u00ed como un entorno de capacitaci\u00f3n y simulaci\u00f3n para la formaci\u00f3n del personal y las pruebas del sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Sud\u00e1frica gestiona aproximadamente 283.000 vuelos al a\u00f1o, conectando m\u00e1s de 20 destinos nacionales y 35 internacionales, y es uno de los principales centros de transporte a\u00e9reo del continente africano. El nuevo sistema mejorar\u00e1 la planificaci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n del espacio a\u00e9reo al equilibrar proactivamente el n\u00famero de vuelos programados con la capacidad disponible de los aeropuertos y sectores. El nuevo sistema generar\u00e1 un entorno operativo m\u00e1s eficiente, resiliente y predecible, generando beneficios tangibles para pasajeros, aerol\u00edneas y aeropuertos, y mejorando la competitividad del sistema de aviaci\u00f3n civil de Sud\u00e1frica\u201d<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Rodrigo Persico, director ejecutivo de Atech.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo sistema ATFM sigue las directrices del documento 9971 de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil Internacional (OACI) e incorpora herramientas de equilibrio entre la demanda y la capacidad (DCB) y de toma de decisiones colaborativa (CDM) para su uso en las fases pret\u00e1ctica y t\u00e1ctica. Adem\u00e1s, la gesti\u00f3n de franjas horarias aeroportuarias permitir\u00e1 a las aerol\u00edneas negociar horarios y presentar sus intenciones de vuelo con antelaci\u00f3n, facilitando a la vez la planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica del espacio a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema ATFM tambi\u00e9n incluye paneles de control en tiempo real para la monitorizaci\u00f3n de las operaciones e indicadores clave (KPI) para la evaluaci\u00f3n posterior al an\u00e1lisis; la coordinaci\u00f3n de las medidas ATFM transfronterizas con las Regiones de Informaci\u00f3n de Vuelo (FIR) vecinas, lo que permite la integraci\u00f3n con una red multinodal ATFM.<\/p>\n<p>El contrato incluye un Sistema de Plan de Vuelo Inicial e Integrado (IFPS) conforme a los requisitos de EUROCONTROL, lo que reduce el tiempo de procesamiento del plan de vuelo y el trabajo manual. Otras caracter\u00edsticas del nuevo sistema incluyen un Sistema de Gesti\u00f3n y Coordinaci\u00f3n del Espacio A\u00e9reo (AMCS) para procesar el Uso Flexible del Espacio A\u00e9reo (FUA) a nivel
