pasajeros, lo que representa un aumento interanual del 4,4% frente a julio de 2024, equivalente a 1.8 millones de pasajeros adicionales. Este ritmo de crecimiento super\u00f3 al registrado en junio, al sumar un punto porcentual m\u00e1s, impulsado por las aerol\u00edneas con base en LAC que, por segundo mes consecutivo, lideraron la expansi\u00f3n mundial (+7,2%)[i]. El tr\u00e1fico dentro de la regi\u00f3n explic\u00f3 m\u00e1s del 60% del incremento neto de julio, mientras que el flujo de pasajeros entre LAC y EE. UU. registr\u00f3 su mejor desempe\u00f1o del a\u00f1o (+3,6% interanual).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Argentina, Panam\u00e1, Per\u00fa y Brasil lideraron el crecimiento porcentual en los mercados de mayor volumen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Argentina fue el mercado de mayor crecimiento porcentual interanual en julio (+11%), gracias a una expansi\u00f3n del 8,3% en el segmento dom\u00e9stico y del 14% en el internacional. El total de pasajeros alcanz\u00f3 un nuevo m\u00e1ximo hist\u00f3rico para un mes de julio, 6% por encima de julio 2019. Entre enero y julio, el pa\u00eds ya suma 19 millones de pasajeros, un 14,7% m\u00e1s que en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Panam\u00e1, registr\u00f3 un aumento interanual del 9% en su tr\u00e1fico total de pasajeros en julio, jalonado por el aumento intrarregional (+10%) y con Norteam\u00e9rica (+5%). Las rutas con Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribefueron las que m\u00e1s crecieron desde y hacia Panam\u00e1 durante Julio, destac\u00e1ndose Panam\u00e1 \u2013 San Jos\u00e9 (+21%), Panam\u00e1 \u2013 Punta Cana (+27%), Panam\u00e1 \u2013 El Salvador (+22%) y Panam\u00e1 \u2013 Guatemala (+15%).<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00fa tuvo un alza importante del 8,6% interanual, con el mercado dom\u00e9stico creciendo a doble d\u00edgito (+10%) y el internacional al 6%. Julio marc\u00f3 r\u00e9cord hist\u00f3rico en tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico (1,5 millones de pasajeros), algo que se ha repetido todos los meses de 2025. En el segmento internacional, la cantidad de vuelos operados aumento en 7% respecto a julio de 2024, con un fuerte impulso en el mercado Per\u00fa \u2013 Colombia, que creci\u00f3 25% interanual en frecuencias[ii] y +17% interanual en turistas colombianos visitando Per\u00fa[iii].<\/p>\n<p>Brasil registr\u00f3 su quinto mes consecutivo de r\u00e9cord hist\u00f3rico en tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico. En julio, 9 millones de pasajeros volaron dentro del pa\u00eds, 4,9% m\u00e1s que en julio de 2024. Pese a que el n\u00famero total de vuelos dom\u00e9sticos operados en julio se redujo en 2% interanual, la capacidad promedio de asientos por vuelo aumento en 3% pasando de 153 a 161 asientos ofrecidos por vuelo[iv]. En el segmento internacional, Brasil creci\u00f3 13,6% interanual, impulsado por un aumento del 43% en las llegadas de turistas internacionales por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea[v]. En total, el tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros en Brasil creci\u00f3 7,5% respecto a julio de 2024.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cQue las aerol\u00edneas latinoamericanas registren un crecimiento interanual del 7,2% en julio \u2014el m\u00e1s alto a nivel mundial por segundo mes consecutivo\u2014 refleja no solo la fortaleza de nuestra industria, sino tambi\u00e9n la confianza de los viajeros en la conectividad que ofrece la regi\u00f3n. M\u00e1s del 60% del incremento neto interanual de pasajeros de julio provino de rutas intrarregionales, lo que demuestra un mercado cada vez m\u00e1s din\u00e1mico\u201d,<\/em> se\u00f1al\u00f3 Peter Cerd\u00e1, CEO de ALTA.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>M\u00e9xico y Colombia presentaron un leve repunte en tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En M\u00e9xico volaron 11 millones de pasajeros en julio (+1,8% interanual), recuper\u00e1ndose tras la ca\u00edda de junio (\u20130,4% interanual). El segmento dom\u00e9stico creci\u00f3 1,3% interanual y el internacional 2,4%. El tr\u00e1fico con EE. UU., que constituye el tercer par de pa\u00edses m\u00e1s grande de la regi\u00f3n despu\u00e9s del Brasil y M\u00e9xico dom\u00e9sticos, repunt\u00f3 1,3% interanual en julio, tras caer en junio (\u20132,1%), aunque en el acumulado enero-julio se mantiene pr\u00e1cticamente estable (\u20130,1%, 24 mil pasajeros menos).<\/p>\n<p>En Colombia, tras cinco meses de ca\u00eddas, el tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico creci\u00f3 0,6% interanual en julio, aunque en enero-julio acumula una baja de 1,7%, afectada por el tr\u00e1fico originando en Bogot\u00e1 (\u20134,6% acumulado), que concentra m\u00e1s del 30% del total. En contraste, el mercado internacional de pasajeros creci\u00f3 6,7% interanual, impulsado por el aumento con pa\u00edses vecinos; Ecuador (+12%), Brasil (+27%), Per\u00fa (+21%) y Venezuela (+11%).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Chile y Ecuador; crecimientos m\u00e1s moderados<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Chile tuvo su peor mes en lo que va corrido del 2025, con un aumento marginal en el total de pasajeros transportados de apenas 0,8% comparado con julio de 2024. El tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico tuvo una contracci\u00f3n del 2,4% interanual, mientras que el internacional creci\u00f3 4,6%. En Ecuador, el tr\u00e1fico total creci\u00f3 4,1% interanual en julio, impulsado por el incremento del segmento internacional que creci\u00f3 5,6%. Las llegadas v\u00eda a\u00e9rea de turistas internacionales residentes en Estados Unidos a Ecuador tuvieron un aumento del 11%[vi] interanual, lo cual ayudo a jalonar el incremento de tr\u00e1fico internacional.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Caribe y Centroam\u00e9rica<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>El tr\u00e1fico desde y hacia el Caribe creci\u00f3 6.2% interanual en julio, impulsado por Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, el mayor mercado de la subregi\u00f3n, que avanz\u00f3 5.5%. El tr\u00e1fico entre Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y EE.UU. se recuper\u00f3 levemente, con un alza de 5.2% interanual tras la ca\u00edda de junio (\u20131.1%). Jamaica, el segundo mercado m\u00e1s grande del Caribe, registro en julio su mejor mes del a\u00f1o, creciendo 13.1% interanual con 703.000 pasajeros en total. Guyana, un mercado peque\u00f1o, pero de gran dinamismo en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, creci\u00f3 12% interanual en julio y acumula un 18% m\u00e1s de llegadas internacionales en 2025[vii].<\/p>\n<p>Costa Rica registr\u00f3 una expansi\u00f3n interanual del 7% en julio, impulsado por la llegada turistas internacionales v\u00eda a\u00e9rea desde Sudam\u00e9rica (+17.7%) y Europa (+3.9%). Las llegadas desde EE. UU. repuntaron marginalmente (+0.3%), aunque en el acumulado enero-julio cayeron 2.3%[viii]. En El Salvador, el tr\u00e1fico creci\u00f3 2.4% interanual en Julio despu\u00e9s de 5 meses seguidos de descensos. En lo que va corrido de 2025, El Salvador ha movilizado un total de 3 millones de pasajeros.
