El crecimiento continu\u00f3 a un ritmo menor que en meses anteriores: 5.3% en abril, 4% en marzo y 5% en febrero.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los mercados de Brasil y Argentina impulsaron el crecimiento<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brasil registr\u00f3 el mejor mes de mayo de su historia en el tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico con 8.2 millones de pasajeros, un 6.3% vs. mayo de 2015 y 14% vs. mayo 2024.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Una tendencia sostenida: los meses de marzo, abril y mayo de 2025 han sido los m\u00e1s altos hist\u00f3ricamente para el tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico en Brasil.<\/li>\n<li>La din\u00e1mica responde, en parte, a una reducci\u00f3n de precios: el transporte a\u00e9reo fue la categor\u00eda de servicios con mayor deflaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds<sup>[1]<\/sup> (\u201311.3% vs. mayo 24). Entretanto, el consumo privado en servicios de transporte a\u00e9reo creci\u00f3 16.9% en el acumulado enero-abril<sup>[2]<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En el segmento internacional, Brasil creci\u00f3 13.2% con 250 mil pasajeros adicionales y alcanz\u00f3 r\u00e9cord consecutivo de 5 meses de crecimiento. Las llegadas de turistas internacionales por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea crecieron 38% con 1.5 millones de visitantes desde Suram\u00e9rica en el acumulado del a\u00f1o (+64%). La llegada de turistas desde Argentina creci\u00f3 93% en el mismo per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl crecimiento del mercado brasile\u00f1o es reflejo de una mayor inclusi\u00f3n y accesibilidad. En los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os, las tarifas dom\u00e9sticas promedio, ajustadas por inflaci\u00f3n, se han reducido de 851 a 543 reales, y las internacionales de 892 a 665 reales desde 2011<sup>[3]<\/sup>. Este avance no puede darse por sentado. Propuestas fiscales como la aplicaci\u00f3n de un IVA del 26.5% sobre los boletos a\u00e9reos podr\u00edan poner en riesgo esa evoluci\u00f3n y afectar la capacidad de millones de brasile\u00f1os de seguir volando\u201d<\/em>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Peter Cerd\u00e1, CEO de ALTA.<\/p>\n<p>Argentina fue el mercado dom\u00e9stico de mayor expansi\u00f3n porcentual con 21% interanual. El tr\u00e1fico internacional creci\u00f3 19%, impulsado por un alza del 52% en las salidas de residentes hacia el exterior.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los principales destinos fueron Brasil (+110%), Chile (+99%) y Europa (+45%).<\/li>\n<li>Esta tendencia responde a un entorno cambiario favorable y a la eliminaci\u00f3n de restricciones que han reducido el costo relativo de los viajes internacionales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>El segundo mercado m\u00e1s grande de la regi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico en M\u00e9xico creci\u00f3 2.1% con 109 mil pasajeros adicionales. Sin embargo, varias de las rutas de mayor volumen mostraron ca\u00eddas. El segmento internacional creci\u00f3 2.1%, aunque las tres principales rutas hacia EE.UU. registraron ca\u00eddas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los mercados dom\u00e9sticos de Colombia, Chile y el tr\u00e1fico LAC-Estados Unidos decayeron y limitaron el crecimiento agregado:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En Colombia, el tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico cay\u00f3 6.2% interanual, acumulando cuatro meses consecutivos de contracci\u00f3n. El entorno operativo se ha tornado m\u00e1s desafiante: en mayo, la TRM registr\u00f3 una depreciaci\u00f3n interanual del 8.3%<sup>[4]. <\/sup>A esto se suma el aumento del impuesto nacional al carbono desde febrero.<\/li>\n<li>En Chile, la ca\u00edda de pasajeros dom\u00e9sticos fue de 1%.<\/li>\n<li>El tr\u00e1fico internacional extrarregional se redujo por primera vez desde abril de 2021, con una ca\u00edda del 0.6%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tr\u00e1fico internacional intrarregional mostr\u00f3 una expansi\u00f3n relevante<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Este segmento tuvo un crecimiento combinado del 15.4% en los principales pares de mercados: Argentina\u2013Brasil, Colombia\u2013Panam\u00e1, Brasil\u2013Chile y Argentina\u2013Chile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resumen de
