pruebas del r\u00f3ver ExoMars que se est\u00e1n desarrollando en las instalaciones de Airbus en Toulouse han pasado a una nueva etapa con el comienzo de las pruebas de vac\u00edo t\u00e9rmico (TVAC), que se llevar\u00e1n a cabo durante unos 18 d\u00edas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El r\u00f3ver ha estado siendo sometido a una serie de pruebas en las instalaciones de Airbus en Toulouse para dejarlo listo para su viaje al planeta rojo en 2020. El proyecto ExoMars de la Agencia Espacial Europea contar\u00e1 con el primer r\u00f3ver dise\u00f1ado para buscar vida en Marte.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte de las pruebas TVAC, el r\u00f3ver se calentar\u00e1 y se enfriar\u00e1 simulando las duras condiciones de su viaje por el espacio y el entorno al que se enfrentar\u00e1 en la superficie de Marte. Las temperaturas imitar\u00e1n dos d\u00edas marcianos \u201cc\u00e1lidos\u201d y otros dos \u201cfr\u00edos\u201d. Los d\u00edas de Marte se conocen como soles, y un sol dura 24 horas, 39 minutos y 35 segundos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de Airbus en Stevenage est\u00e1 trabajando estrechamente con Thales Alenia Space y con sus colegas de Airbus en Toulouse para garantizar que el r\u00f3ver est\u00e9 listo para su pr\u00f3xima fase, que consistir\u00e1 en su integraci\u00f3n en el m\u00f3dulo de descenso de la nave espacial en Cannes (Francia), antes de ser enviado a Baikonur para su lanzamiento entre julio y agosto de 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ExoMars es un programa de la Agencia Espacial Europea desarrollado en cooperaci\u00f3n con la Agencia Espacial Rusa Roscosmos y que cuenta con la contribuci\u00f3n de la NASA. Thales Alenia Space es el contratista principal de la misi\u00f3n ExoMars; los otros socios industriales principales son OHB, que desarrolla el m\u00f3dulo de transporte, y Lavochkin, que se encarga del m\u00f3dulo de descenso. La integraci\u00f3n del r\u00f3ver se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Airbus en Reino Unido.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thales Alenia Space, por su parte, suministr\u00f3 el laboratorio anal\u00edtico, OHB aport\u00f3 complejos mecanismos de laboratorio, Leonardo proporcion\u00f3 el taladro y nueve equipos de desarrollo de instrumentos de distintos Estados miembros de la ESA, la NASA\/JPL e IKI\/Roscosmos
