La aerol\u00ednea se convierte en la segunda del mundo en operar el A321XLR, as\u00ed como la segunda del International Airlines Group (IAG).<\/p>\n<p>El avi\u00f3n, equipado con motores CFM LEAP-1A, despeg\u00f3 de la planta de producci\u00f3n de Airbus en Hamburgo, Alemania, el 18 de diciembre con destino a la base de operaciones de Aer Lingus en el aeropuerto de Dubl\u00edn, Irlanda.<\/p>\n<p>El A321XLR de Aer Lingus est\u00e1 configurado con 184 asientos en un dise\u00f1o de dos clases, con 16 asientos totalmente reclinables en clase Business y 168 en clase Economy. Es el primer avi\u00f3n de la flota de Aer Lingus que ofrece a los pasajeros y a la tripulaci\u00f3n de cabina la comodidad mejorada de la cabina Airspace de Airbus, que cuenta con compartimentos superiores XL con un 60 % m\u00e1s de espacio de almacenamiento en comparaci\u00f3n con los aviones de la generaci\u00f3n anterior. Adem\u00e1s, todos los pasajeros tienen a su disposici\u00f3n conectividad desde el asiento, mientras que el \u00faltimo sistema de iluminaci\u00f3n mejora la experiencia general de los pasajeros.<\/p>\n<p>El avi\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a Aer Lingus operar nuevas rutas m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la costa este de Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1, con destinos como Nashville e Indian\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n<p>El A321XLR es el siguiente paso evolutivo de la familia A320neo, que responde a las necesidades del mercado de mayor alcance y carga \u00fatil, creando a\u00fan m\u00e1s valor para las aerol\u00edneas. Ofrecer\u00e1 un alcance extralargo sin precedentes de hasta 4.700 millas n\u00e1uticas, un 15% m\u00e1s de alcance que el A321LR y un consumo de combustible por asiento un 30% menor en comparaci\u00f3n con los aviones de la competencia de la generaci\u00f3n anterior, as\u00ed como emisiones de NOx y ruidos reducidos.
