Conocido como el programa Halc\u00f3n II, el pedido incluye la entrega de 21 aviones monoplaza y cuatro biplaza de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n, que sustituir\u00e1n parte de la flota de F-18 operada por el Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio.<\/p>\n<p>Este contrato, junto con uno anterior firmado en 2022 por otro lote de 20 cazas, incrementar\u00e1 la flota espa\u00f1ola de Eurofighter hasta los 115 aviones. Con la primera entrega prevista en 2030, estos nuevos cazas aumentar\u00e1n las capacidades y operaciones del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio, reforzar\u00e1n su posici\u00f3n destacada en la OTAN y asegurar\u00e1 la huella industrial de este programa de defensa.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl Eurofighter es el caza de combate m\u00e1s avanzado y de mayor \u00e9xito de fabricaci\u00f3n europea y constituye la columna vertebral de la superioridad a\u00e9rea europea. En el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n participan las principales empresas nacionales de defensa y tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La adquisici\u00f3n fue aprobada por el Consejo de Ministros en septiembre de 2023 e incluye aviones, as\u00ed como motores y servicios de apoyo.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>La saga Halc\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dise\u00f1ado para sustituir a la flota de F-18 del pa\u00eds, el programa Halc\u00f3n supone una mejora significativa de las capacidades a\u00e9reas de Espa\u00f1a: un total de 45 (20+25) aviones Eurofighter encargados desde 2022, equipados con avi\u00f3nica avanzada, radar de barrido electr\u00f3nico (E-Scan), sistemas de armas mejorados capaces de operar Brimstone III y Full Meteor, nuevos sensores y conectividad mejorada. Estos cazas se incorporar\u00e1n a la actual flota de 70 Eurofighter del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio espa\u00f1ol a partir de 2026.<\/p>\n<p>En servicio en Espa\u00f1a desde 2003, el Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio opera el Eurofighter desde las bases a\u00e9reas de Mor\u00f3n de la Frontera (Ala 11), Sevilla, y Los Llanos (Ala 14), Albacete. Gando (Ala 46), en las Islas Canarias, se convertir\u00e1 pronto en la pr\u00f3xima base operativa.<\/p>\n<p>En la actualidad, el programa Eurofighter asegura m\u00e1s de 100.000 puestos de trabajo en Europa, que se ver\u00e1n incrementados gracias a este pedido de aviones de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como a los futuros avances tecnol\u00f3gicos dentro del desarrollo del
