El acuerdo incluye una opci\u00f3n de compra por aviones adicionales y consolida al grupo de aerol\u00edneas como el mayor operador de Boeing 787 en Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>Con esta orden, que se suma a las entregas previstas en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, el grupo LATAM espera operar 52 aviones de la familia 787 Dreamliner para el final de la d\u00e9cada. Esto representa un aumento de 26 aviones, respecto a lo que se operaba pre pandemia.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;El Boeing 787 es un avi\u00f3n que destaca por su eficiencia y versatilidad y que permite al grupo seguir creciendo de forma sostenible, reduciendo su huella de carbono al mismo tiempo que impulsa el crecimiento de sus operaciones. Esta orden le permitir\u00e1 al grupo continuar su crecimiento internacional, con entregas comprometidas desde 2025 hasta el final de la d\u00e9cada\u201d, <\/em>dice Ramiro Alfons\u00edn, CFO del grupo LATAM.<\/p>\n<p>A la fecha, el grupo LATAM es el mayor operador de aviones wide body y de los 787 Dreamliners en Am\u00e9rica Latina, operando 37 aviones 787. Las empresas del grupo tambi\u00e9n fueron los primeros operadores de los modelos 787-8 y 787-9 en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos de su fabricante, el 787 permite ofrecer una eficiencia de combustible superior al utilizar un 25% menos de combustible y generar un 25% menos de emisiones que los avionles que reemplaza.
