Helicopters ha conseguido llegar a nuevas alturas: el nuevo H145 ha aterrizado en la cima del Aconcagua en los Andes argentinos, la cima m\u00e1s alta de Am\u00e9rica, culminando a 6.962 metros. Se trata de la primera vez que un helic\u00f3ptero bimotor aterriza a esta altitud, confirmando el rendimiento y la amplia envolvente de vuelo del nuevo H145.<br \/><br \/>Esta misi\u00f3n se desarroll\u00f3 bajo condiciones extremas debido a las condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas de la zona y al clima invernal. La aeronave despeg\u00f3 desde Mendoza (Argentina) y vol\u00f3 30 minutos hasta el pie del Aconcagua, donde comenz\u00f3 su ascenso. Tras un ascenso de 15 minutos, el helic\u00f3ptero aterriz\u00f3 en la cima a las 13h45 a una temperatura de -22 \u00baC. A bordo se encontraban el piloto de pruebas Alexander Neuhaus acompa\u00f1ado del ingeniero de pruebas en vuelo Antoine van Gent.<br \/><br \/>\u201cTuvimos que mantenernos concentrados en la misi\u00f3n debido a los fuertes vientos, con r\u00e1fagas de hasta 30 nudos, turbolencias y a una densidad de aire muy baja. Las cualidades de manejo del nuevo H145 son excelentes y, combinadas con Helionix y su piloto autom\u00e1tico de cuatro ejes, pudimos alcanzar la cima de forma segura\u201d, declar\u00f3 Alexander Neuhaus, piloto de pruebas en Airbus Helicopters. \u201cEl helic\u00f3ptero ha tenido un comportamiento extraordinario. Hemos sobrevolado la cima sin utilizar toda la potencia del helic\u00f3ptero, lo que nos habr\u00eda permitido transportar dos pasajeros.\u201d<br \/><br \/>Este vuelo de pruebas recibi\u00f3 el apoyo de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina, que proporcion\u00f3 apoyo a\u00e9reo con sus helic\u00f3pteros Lama; la Patrulla de Rescate de Alta Monta\u00f1a de la Polic\u00eda de Mendoza, que ofreci\u00f3 un plan de contingencia; el Parque Provincial Aconcagua, que facilit\u00f3 las operaciones y la log\u00edstica, y Helicopters AR, un operador local con m\u00e1s de quince a\u00f1os de experiencia de vuelo en el Parque Aconcagua con su helic\u00f3ptero Airbus H125.<br \/><br \/>El Aconcagua no es la primera cumbre conquistada por Airbus Helicopters: el 14 de mayo de 2005, el piloto Didier Delsalle se pos\u00f3 con un H125 en la cima del Everest.<br \/><br \/>Antes de comenzar la campa\u00f1a de pruebas de gran altitud en Am\u00e9rica del Sur, el nuevo H145 ya hab\u00eda realizado varias campa\u00f1as de ensayos, como la desarrollada en Espa\u00f1a para las pruebas a una altitud media y en Finlandia para el clima fr\u00edo. Los dos prototipos H145 de cinco palas han registrado ya m\u00e1s de 400 horas de vuelo con vistas a la certificaci\u00f3n de la EASA que tendr\u00e1 lugar a principios de 2020. Ser\u00e1 seguida de la certificaci\u00f3n de la FAA y las primeras entregas a lo largo de ese mismo a\u00f1o.<br \/><br \/>La nueva versi\u00f3n del H145, el helic\u00f3ptero ligero bimotor \u00e9xito de ventas, se present\u00f3 en marzo en la Heli-Expo 2019 en Atlanta. El nuevo rotor de cinco palas del H145 aumenta significativamente su rendimiento general, elevando a 3.800 kg el peso m\u00e1ximo al despegue e incrementando su carga \u00fatil, que ahora equivale al peso vac\u00edo de la aeronave. La sencillez del dise\u00f1o de su nuevo rotor sin rodamientos facilita tambi\u00e9n las tareas de mantenimiento, aumentando todav\u00eda m\u00e1s la fiabilidad y facilidad de servicio del H145, al tiempo que aumenta el confort de los pasajeros y la tripulaci\u00f3n.
