elementor-clearfix\"><ul>\n<li><em>A agosto de 2019 la filial del Grupo LATAM en Colombia transport\u00f3 3.601.488 pasajeros en su operaci\u00f3n de vuelos nacionales.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>En Medell\u00edn, Cali y Bucaramanga, rutas incluidas en el Plan de Expansi\u00f3n, el crecimiento de pasajeros ha sido superior al 40%.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Para 2020 la estrategia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda se enfocar\u00e1 en rentabilizar la operaci\u00f3n actual teniendo en cuenta los retos que presenta un entorno macroecon\u00f3mico caracterizado por un d\u00f3lar por encima de los 3.300 pesos y los altos precios del petr\u00f3leo. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Los crecimientos de la operaci\u00f3n del Grupo LATAM para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o estar\u00e1n enfocados en el fortalecimiento de la conectividad de Colombia con el hub de Lima.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En el periodo de enero a julio de 2019 LATAM Airlines Colombia transport\u00f3 3.052.642 pasajeros en su operaci\u00f3n dom\u00e9stica lo que representa un crecimiento de 10% frente al mismo periodo en el a\u00f1o anterior.\u00a0 En este crecimiento ha tenido especial relevancia el comportamiento de las rutas que hacen parte del Plan de Expansi\u00f3n Colombia anunciado a principios del a\u00f1o. En el caso de Medell\u00edn los pasajeros transportados crecieron en un 42%, en Bucaramanga 46% y en Cali el crecimiento ha sido del 81% en los meses de julio y agosto cuando se inici\u00f3 la operaci\u00f3n de las nuevas frecuencias.<\/p>\n<p>Lo anterior se refleja tambi\u00e9n en el aumento de los niveles de ocupaci\u00f3n de los aviones que se encuentran por encima del 80%. Para julio el factor de ocupaci\u00f3n para las rutas dom\u00e9sticas fue de 82% lo que representa un incremento de tres puntos porcentuales frente a 2018. Y en el caso de las rutas que hacen parte del Plan de Expansi\u00f3n Colombia este incremento fue de cuatro puntos porcentuales frente a 2018 para llegar a un factor de ocupaci\u00f3n de 80%.<\/p>\n<p>Para 2020 la filial del Grupo LATAM Airlines en Colombia se enfocar\u00e1 en rentabilizar su operaci\u00f3n dado el escenario macroecon\u00f3mico actual que plantea importantes retos para el crecimiento de la industria a\u00e9rea local. \u201c<em>Con el Plan de Expansi\u00f3n Colombia en 2019 sentamos las bases para el crecimiento de la aerol\u00ednea en el pa\u00eds en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. El 2020 ser\u00e1 el a\u00f1o de rentabilizar la operaci\u00f3n en los mercados dom\u00e9sticos donde hemos ganado terreno y continuar buscando oportunidades especialmente en nuestra operaci\u00f3n de vuelos internacionales al HUB de Lima<\/em>\u201d indic\u00f3 Santiago \u00c1lvarez, director ejecutivo de LATAM Airlines Colombia.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLa industria a\u00e9rea en Colombia se enfrenta a un escenario muy complejo, caracterizado por un d\u00f3lar por encima de los 3.300 pesos y altos precios del petr\u00f3leo, que podr\u00eda desacelerar su crecimiento. En el Grupo LATAM creemos que estas condiciones se mantendr\u00e1n en 2020 y en esa medida debemos ser responsables en nuestra estrategia para mantener los niveles de operaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds lo cual es esencial para que este mercado contin\u00fae siendo competitivo\u201d <\/em>\u00a0agreg\u00f3 \u00c1lvarez.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, durante 2020 llegar\u00e1n a Colombia los aviones Airbus 320 con cabina renovada ofreciendo a los pasajeros mejor calidad de asientos, m\u00e1s espacio entre asientos para los pasajeros Elite, puertos USB de carga r\u00e1pida y conectividad WiFi, que es la apuesta m\u00e1s importante del Grupo LATAM para mejorar la experiencia de vuelo de sus clientes. Esto complementado con importantes inversiones en transformaci\u00f3n digital para optimizar la relaci\u00f3n de comienzo a fin con los pasajeros<\/p>\n<p>En la operaci\u00f3n internacional, a partir de febrero de 2020 se aumentar\u00e1 el n\u00famero de frecuencias hacia Lima desde las ciudades de Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn y Cali con 14 vuelos adicionales a la semana. En el caso de la ruta Medell\u00edn- Lima se pasar\u00e1 de tres vuelos semanales a un vuelo diario, en Cali la oferta aumentar\u00e1 de tres a seis frecuencias semanales y en el caso de Bogot\u00e1 se pasar\u00e1 de dos a tres vuelos diarios. Con esta nueva oferta el Grupo LATAM Airlines, con su filial LATAM Airlines Per\u00fa, ofrecer\u00e1 41 frecuencias semanales entre Colombia y Per\u00fa desde Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn, Cali y Cartagena a Lima<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s del aumento de frecuencias, en una de las tres frecuencias diarias entre Bogot\u00e1 y Lima, LATAM cambiar\u00e1 aviones Airbus 320 de 174 pasajeros, con los cuales opera actualmente la ruta,\u00a0 por aviones<em> Boeing 767<\/em> con capacidad para 238 pasajeros. De esta forma aumentar\u00e1 en 36% el n\u00famero de sillas disponibles en esta ruta y ofrecer\u00e1 a sus pasajeros una experiencia de viaje renovada y cabina Business para el segmento corporativo.<\/p>\n<p>Para \u00c1lvarez \u201c<em>En LATAM tenemos como prioridad\u00a0 continuar fortaleciendo la conectividad de los colombianos con Suram\u00e9rica.
