El Certificado de Tipo fue entregado por Florian Guillermet, director ejecutivo de la EASA, a Isabelle Bloy, ingeniero jefe del A321XLR. La certificaci\u00f3n de la versi\u00f3n con motor Pratt &amp; Whitney est\u00e1 prevista para finales de 2024.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAqu\u00ed llega el A321XLR, un producto diferenciado que aporta un nuevo valor a\u00f1adido al mercado, ampliando las posibilidades de nuestras l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas clientes y de sus pasajeros. Todo ello con un consumo de combustible por asiento un 30% inferior al de los aviones de la competencia de la generaci\u00f3n anterior, y con aproximadamente la mitad del coste de viaje de los modernos aviones de fuselaje ancho. La nueva cabina Airspace del A321XLR proporcionar\u00e1 a los pasajeros confort para largas distancias en todas las clases.<\/p>\n<p>El primer A321XLR complet\u00f3 su vuelo inaugural en junio de 2022. Le sigui\u00f3 un extenso programa de pruebas en el que participaron tres aviones de prueba.
