class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>El grupo LATAM transport\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 32,8 millones de pasajeros entre enero y mayo de este a\u00f1o, lo que representa un incremento de 16,6% en comparaci\u00f3n a igual per\u00edodo de 2023, seg\u00fan se desprende de sus estad\u00edsticas operacionales correspondientes al mes de mayo, informadas el pasado 10 de junio de 2024.<\/p>\n<p>El resultado anterior se explica por el buen desempe\u00f1o a nivel nacional de las filiales de Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y Per\u00fa, que transportaron un 20,6% m\u00e1s de pasajeros en comparaci\u00f3n a 2023, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n de la filial en Brasil que transport\u00f3 un 8,1% m\u00e1s de pasajeros a nivel dom\u00e9stico. Por su parte, los pasajeros transportados internacionalmente aumentaron 30,6% durante enero y mayo, en relaci\u00f3n a igual periodo de 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Solo en mayo, el grupo LATAM transport\u00f3 6,4 millones de pasajeros, un 11,2% m\u00e1s que en igual periodo de 2023, mientras que increment\u00f3 su capacidad consolidada, medida en asientos \u2013 kil\u00f3metros disponibles (ASK) en un 15,9%, impulsado principalmente por un 27,6% de crecimiento en la oferta del segmento internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros consolidado, medido en pasajeros-kil\u00f3metros rentados (RPK), creci\u00f3 19,3% en mayo de 2024. Dado lo anterior, el factor de ocupaci\u00f3n consolidado alcanz\u00f3 el 81,4%, lo que representa un crecimiento de 2,3 puntos porcentuales respecto a igual mes del a\u00f1o pasado, destacando el incremento de 1,4 puntos porcentuales en el factor de ocupaci\u00f3n del segmento internacional durante este per\u00edodo, el cual alcanz\u00f3 un 83,5%.<\/p>\n<p>En carga, la capacidad del grupo LATAM (medida en toneladas-kil\u00f3metros disponibles &#8211; ATK) aument\u00f3 en un 12,4% en relaci\u00f3n a mayo de 2023, llegando a los 677 millones de toneladas- kil\u00f3metros
