elementor-clearfix\"><p>Del 29 al 31 de mayo, se llev\u00f3 a cabo en nuestro pa\u00eds y por primera vez el Congreso HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) un evento acad\u00e9mico y cient\u00edfico enfocado en la transferencia de conocimiento en torno al salvamiento a\u00e9reo y traslado helicoportado de pacientes, organizado por la Fundaci\u00f3n de la Academia de Medicina Francesa- FAM.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro organizado en conjunto con la fundaci\u00f3n de la firma francesa de helic\u00f3pteros AIRBUS, la Embajada de Francia, la Universidad del Rosario, la empresa colombiana Helistar y con el apoyo de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Miembros de la Legi\u00f3n de Honor- secci\u00f3n colombiana abord\u00f3, entre otros temas la fisiolog\u00eda y fisiopatolog\u00eda del vuelo, la importancia de la seguridad operacional en este tipo de traslados, el manejo y la estabilizaci\u00f3n del paciente con trauma y que requiere cuidado intensivo. Estos procesos formativos buscan agregar valor al salvamiento de pacientes, en los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os se han impartido 14 cursos en 7 pa\u00edses alrededor del mundo como China, Brasil, India, Indonesia, M\u00e9xico, Nepal, Tailandia y este a\u00f1o en Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Con este congreso 96 profesionales colombianos vinculados a los procesos de salud del pa\u00eds adquirieron entrenamiento y conocimiento b\u00e1sico para el desarrollo de transporte aerom\u00e9dico de pacientes. Para Helistar participar en estos procesos formativos es una forma de hacer pa\u00eds y dar a conocer que Colombia cuenta con las herramientas para garantizar un sistema de emergencias que incluya el servicio de ambulancia a\u00e9rea tipo helic\u00f3ptero, y as\u00ed romper las barreras geogr\u00e1ficas y as\u00ed garantizar el acceso oportuno al derecho a la salud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prensa
