Space.<\/p>\n<p>El rover ExoMars \u201cRosalind Franklin\u201d ser\u00e1 el primer rover planetario de Europa, y se est\u00e1 montando en la planta de Airbus en Stevenage. Su cometido ser\u00e1 buscar signos de vida pasada o presente en Marte, y cuenta con un taladro de dos metros para tomar muestras del subsuelo, donde podr\u00edan haber estado protegidas de la severa radiaci\u00f3n ambiental del planeta.<\/p>\n<p>El rover dispone de nueve instrumentos que ayudar\u00e1n a los cient\u00edficos a realizar una exploraci\u00f3n paso a paso de Marte, comenzando a una escala panor\u00e1mica y avanzando progresivamente hacia an\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s reducidos (a nivel submilim\u00e9trico) para finalizar con la identificaci\u00f3n molecular de compuestos org\u00e1nicos. El rover tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 equipado con un sistema de navegaci\u00f3n aut\u00f3nomo desarrollado por Airbus, que le permitir\u00e1 trasladarse entre puntos de inter\u00e9s m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que si se controlara de modo remoto en tiempo real desde la Tierra.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, Rosalind Franklin se est\u00e1 instalando en su contenedor especial de protecci\u00f3n en Stevenage para su traslado a Toulouse, donde se someter\u00e1 a una serie de pruebas preparatorias para su lanzamiento. Su salida de la planta de Airbus en Reino Unido se producir\u00e1 el 28 de agosto.
