resultados financieros correspondientes al primer trimestre del 2024, manteniendo la tendencia positiva en su desempe\u00f1o operativo y financiero en un contexto de una demanda sana, costos eficientes y s\u00f3lidas participaciones de mercado. De esta forma, el grupo report\u00f3 ingresos operacionales totales por US$3.321 millones en el primer trimestre, un 18,4% m\u00e1s respecto al mismo periodo de 2023, explicado principalmente por el incremento de 21% de los ingresos de pasajeros. La utilidad neta del per\u00edodo fue de US$258 millones.<\/p>\n<p>A su vez, el grupo no s\u00f3lo registr\u00f3 un nuevo margen EBIT ajustado r\u00e9cord de 13,9% y una generaci\u00f3n de EBITDAR ajustado de US$796 millones en el periodo, sino que tambi\u00e9n actualiz\u00f3 su guidance para 2024 basado en el s\u00f3lido desempe\u00f1o del primer trimestre del a\u00f1o y en el positivo comportamiento de la demanda. El grupo proyecta un EBITDAR anual (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and rent costs por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) ajustado entre US$2.750 millones y US$3.050 millones, lo que representa un incremento respecto del guidance entregado en diciembre del a\u00f1o pasado que fue de entre US$2.600 millones y US$2.900 millones.<\/p>\n<p>El CFO de LATAM Airlines Group, Ramiro Alfons\u00edn dijo que <em>&#8220;el trabajo sistem\u00e1tico del grupo LATAM se ha traducido en s\u00f3lidos y consistentes resultados financieros y operacionales en el primer trimestre, impulsados por la temporada alta de vacaciones, con un tr\u00e1fico que ya super\u00f3 los indicadores previos a la pandemia. Estas cifras reflejan su continua y s\u00f3lida estructura de capital, adem\u00e1s del continuo enfoque del grupo en la eficiencia de costos, lo que ha permitido mantener su CASK de pasajeros ex fuel en US$4,3 centavos.<\/p>\n<p>A nivel operacional, en los tres primeros meses del a\u00f1o, el grupo LATAM transport\u00f3 20,2 millones de pasajeros, lo que representa un aumento de 19,4% en comparaci\u00f3n a igual periodo de 2023. Lo anterior se explica por el incremento de un 32,5% de pasajeros movilizados en el segmento internacional, de un 26,0% en los mercados dom\u00e9sticos de las filiales de Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y Per\u00fa, y de un 9,1% en el mercado dom\u00e9stico de la filial en Brasil, reflejando de esta manera, el compromiso del grupo LATAM por brindar servicios eficientes y confiables a sus clientes a trav\u00e9s de una red \u00fanica en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Otros hitos relevantes<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dentro de los hitos destacables se encuentra la aprobaci\u00f3n, por parte del Directorio, de iniciar el proceso para reabrir y re listar los ADRs de LATAM en la Bolsa de Valores de Nueva York (NYSE). Por otra parte, en la Junta Ordinaria de Accionistas del pasado 25 de abril, se acord\u00f3 la distribuci\u00f3n de dividendos por un total aproximado de US$175 millones equivalentes al 30% de las ganancias netas del 2023. El dividendo, que ser\u00e1 de aproximadamente US$0,00029 por acci\u00f3n, ser\u00e1 pagado el 16 de mayo pr\u00f3ximo a los accionistas registrados hasta la medianoche del 10 de mayo de 2024.<\/p>\n<p>En el trimestre, la flota del grupo se fortaleci\u00f3 con la incorporaci\u00f3n de un Boeing 787-9 y dos Airbus A321Neo. A su vez, el grupo fue reconocido por tener \u201cEl mejor entretenimiento a bordo de Sudam\u00e9rica\u201d en los Premios APEX. En este sentido, LATAM se convierte en el primer grupo de aerol\u00edneas de Sudam\u00e9rica en agregar contenidos Disney+ a su servicio de entretenimiento a bordo, mejorando la experiencia de sus pasajeros.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de sostenibilidad, el programa Avi\u00f3n Solidario sigui\u00f3 creciendo, proporcionando un apoyo crucial para abordar diversas necesidades en la regi\u00f3n. En Chile y Colombia, la atenci\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en superar las emergencias por incendios, mientras que en Per\u00fa y Ecuador, el grupo reafirm\u00f3 su compromiso con la salud.
