El mercado internacional creci\u00f3 19%, totalizando 18.8 millones de pasajeros.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFebrero de 2024 marc\u00f3 un hito como el mejor febrero de la historia en tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros a\u00e9reos para Brasil, Colombia y M\u00e9xico\u201d<\/em>, resalta Jos\u00e9 Ricardo Botelho, director ejecutivo y CEO de ALTA, en el Reporte de Tr\u00e1fico elaborado por la Asociaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Transporte A\u00e9reo (ALTA).<\/p>\n<p>Colombia registr\u00f3 un crecimiento del 37% en el tr\u00e1fico internacional, transportando 1.7 millones de pasajeros, seguido de Brasil con un aumento del 29%, superando por primera vez los 2 millones de pasajeros transportados en febrero con un total de 2.07 millones, y M\u00e9xico destac\u00f3 con un incremento del 13% con 4.9 millones de pasajeros internacionales.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEn febrero, se contabilizaron cerca de 306 mil vuelos, mostrando un incremento del 9% con respecto al a\u00f1o anterior. Los vuelos nacionales aumentaron un 3% a 172.799, mientras que los vuelos internacionales crecieron un 19% alcanzando 133.199. La capacidad de asientos en la regi\u00f3n alcanz\u00f3 los 47.3 millones, un aumento del 19% en el mercado internacional y un crecimiento m\u00e1s modesto del 2% en el mercado nacional\u201d<\/em>, destaca Botelho.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEl informe de ALTA refleja una vez m\u00e1s que la aviaci\u00f3n es un servicio esencial para cada vez m\u00e1s personas. La ruta Punta Cana (PUJ)-Nueva York (JFK) creci\u00f3 35%.<\/li>\n<li>El tr\u00e1fico internacional de Argentina subi\u00f3 22% con 1.1 millones de pasajeros y el tr\u00e1fico internacional de Chile creci\u00f3 24%, alcanzando 1.07 millones de pasajeros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mercado dom\u00e9stico:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Brasil: <\/strong>Experiment\u00f3 un crecimiento del 3%, con 6.8 millones de pasajeros movilizados. Un punto destacado fue el aumento del 89% en los vuelos entre R\u00edo de Janeiro (GIG) y Guarulhos (GRU).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Colombia: <\/strong>Registr\u00f3 un crecimiento del 6%, transportando 2.45 millones de pasajeros. Las rutas Bogot\u00e1 (BOG) &#8211; Medell\u00edn (MDE) y San Andr\u00e9s (ADZ) &#8211; Bogot\u00e1 (BOG) experimentaron aumentos significativos del 16% y 64%, respectivamente.<\/li>\n<li><strong>M\u00e9xico: <\/strong>Mostr\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n del 1% en el tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros, con 4.4 millones en total, lo cual, a pesar de indicar una mejora, a\u00fan no alcanza los niveles de 2023.
