Corea del Sur es el primer cliente del C-390 Millennium en Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el contrato firmado, Embraer proporcionar\u00e1 una cantidad no revelada de aviones C-390 Millennium especialmente configurados para cumplir con los requisitos de ROKAF, as\u00ed como servicios y soporte que incluyen capacitaci\u00f3n, equipos de apoyo en tierra y repuestos. La actual flota de aviones en operaci\u00f3n ha acumulado m\u00e1s de 10.800 horas de vuelo, con una disponibilidad operativa de alrededor del 80% y tasas de finalizaci\u00f3n de misiones superiores al 99%, lo que demuestra una productividad excepcional en la categor\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El C-390 puede transportar m\u00e1s carga \u00fatil (26 toneladas) en comparaci\u00f3n con otros aviones de transporte militar de tama\u00f1o mediano y vuela m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido (470 nudos) y m\u00e1s lejos, siendo capaz de realizar una amplia gama de misiones como transportar y soltar carga y tropas, asistencia m\u00e9dica misiones de evacuaci\u00f3n, b\u00fasqueda y rescate, extinci\u00f3n de incendios y humanitarias, que operan en pistas temporales o sin pavimentar, como tierra compactada, tierra y grava.
