El R220Y es una plataforma experimental basada en el popular helic\u00f3ptero biplaza Robinson R22, al que se le han quitado los asientos, los controles del piloto y el panel de instrumentos y todas las funciones del helic\u00f3ptero est\u00e1n automatizadas mediante la tecnolog\u00eda de Rotor.<\/p>\n<p>Dos R220Y registraron m\u00e1s de 20 horas de vuelo y m\u00e1s de 80 horas de funcionamiento del motor durante la campa\u00f1a de vuelo. Estos vuelos probaron con \u00e9xito los sistemas de control de vuelo de Rotor, los modos aut\u00f3nomos de velocidad y vuelo estacionario y los sistemas de percepci\u00f3n basados en la visi\u00f3n.
