los 708 millones a finales de 2023, un 3% m\u00e1s que en 2019. Es la regi\u00f3n que mostr\u00f3 una recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida tras la pandemia y la primera en superar el volumen de tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo de 2019. El 55% de los aeropuertos de la regi\u00f3n ya han superado el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo de 2019. Destacan M\u00e9xico y Colombia, con crecimientos del 17% y 5% respectivamente. Se estima que 2024 en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe seguir\u00e1 esta tendencia positiva, con 759 millones de pasajeros previstos, lo que equivale a un 10,5% m\u00e1s que en 2019. La informaci\u00f3n fue presentada durante la primera jornada de la Asamblea Anual, Conferencia y Exposici\u00f3n de ACI-LAC, que se desarroll\u00f3 hasta este martes 7 de noviembre en Miami, Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n al tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo global, la previsi\u00f3n es que a finales de a\u00f1o el volumen de pasajeros alcance los 8,6 millones, lo que representa el 94,2% de los niveles de 2019. Tambi\u00e9n se espera que 2024 sea un hito en la recuperaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo global, con 9,4 millones de pasajeros, superando finalmente los niveles de 2019. Este resultado deber\u00eda estar impulsado por el tr\u00e1fico nacional, que se estima superar\u00e1 el de 2019 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. Se espera que el tr\u00e1fico internacional supere los niveles de 2019 en 2025.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Hacia el objetivo Net Zero en 2050<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En 2023, ACI alcanz\u00f3 el hito hist\u00f3rico de m\u00e1s de 500 aeropuertos en todo el mundo se comprometieron a reducir activamente sus emisiones directas de CO2 en el bajo el programa ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation. En Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe,72 aeropuertos en 20 pa\u00edses y territorios est\u00e1n actualmente certificados. ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation es el \u00fanico programa de certificaci\u00f3n global para la gesti\u00f3n de carbono aprobado para aeropuertos y desempe\u00f1a un papel fundamental en impulsar la industria aeroportuaria hacia el compromiso del sector de cero emisiones netas de carbono para 2050. El programa eval\u00faa y reconoce de manera efectiva de forma independiente los esfuerzos de los aeropuertos para gestionar y reducir sus emisiones de carbono a trav\u00e9s de 6 niveles de certificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>La gesti\u00f3n aeroportuaria y tecnolog\u00eda son aspectos destacados del primer d\u00eda de la conferencia<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>A la apertura de la Asamblea Anual, Conferencia y Exposici\u00f3n de ACI-LAC 2023 asistieron Ezequiel Barrenechea, presidente de la Junta Directiva de ACI-LAC, el director general de ACI World, Luis Felipe de Oliveira, Rafael Echevarne, director general de ACI- LAC, y Christopher Barks, director regional de la OACI para Norteam\u00e9rica, Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribe.<\/p>\n<p>En el panel inaugural del evento, los directores generales de los aeropuertos de la regi\u00f3n debatieron sobre c\u00f3mo han afectado las consecuencias de la pandemia al entorno empresarial de la aviaci\u00f3n. Todos expresaron un\u00e1nimemente su satisfacci\u00f3n por los resultados para 2023 y los progresos realizados para superar los retos. M\u00f3nika Infante, consejera delegada de Aerodom en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, destac\u00f3 la fuerza y las particularidades de las acciones de sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLos aeropuertos somos los directores de la orquesta.
