Basado en el desarrollo liderado por Airbus y la Organizaci\u00f3n Holandesa para la Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica Aplicada (TNO), las dos compa\u00f1\u00edas ahora preparan una demostraci\u00f3n de un prototipo y una primera prueba de vuelo en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de 2024, Airbus y VDL Group, un proveedor industrial holand\u00e9s de alta tecnolog\u00eda, industrializaran a\u00fan m\u00e1s el prototipo para prepararlo para la integraci\u00f3n con un avi\u00f3n anfitri\u00f3n. VDL trae el dise\u00f1o para la producci\u00f3n a la asociaci\u00f3n y fabricar\u00e1 sistemas cr\u00edticos. Est\u00e1 prevista una prueba de vuelo de este prototipo industrializado en 2025 en un avi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>UltraAir permitir\u00e1 el intercambio de grandes cantidades de datos utilizando rayos l\u00e1ser en una red de estaciones terrestres y sat\u00e9lites en \u00f3rbita geoestacionaria a 36.000 km sobre la Tierra. Con una tecnolog\u00eda inigualable que incluye un sistema mecatr\u00f3nico \u00f3ptico altamente estable y preciso, este terminal l\u00e1ser allanar\u00e1 el camino para velocidades de transmisi\u00f3n de datos que podr\u00edan alcanzar varios gigabytes por segundo, al mismo tiempo que brinda protecci\u00f3n contra interferencias y baja probabilidad de intercepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>De esta forma, UltraAir permitir\u00e1 que aviones militares y UAV (veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados) se conecten dentro de una nube de combate multidominio gracias a constelaciones de sat\u00e9lites basadas en l\u00e1ser como SpaceDataHighway de Airbus. Este es un hito clave en la hoja de ruta de la estrategia general de Airbus para impulsar a\u00fan m\u00e1s las comunicaciones l\u00e1ser, lo que traer\u00e1 los beneficios de esta tecnolog\u00eda como un diferenciador clave para proporcionar colaboraci\u00f3n de combate multidominio para clientes gubernamentales y de defensa. A m\u00e1s largo plazo, UltraAir tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda implementarse en aviones comerciales para permitir que los pasajeros de l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas establezcan conexiones de datos de alta velocidad .<\/p>\n<p>Consideradas como la soluci\u00f3n para el tr\u00e1fico de datos en la era cu\u00e1ntica, las tecnolog\u00edas de comunicaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser son la pr\u00f3xima revoluci\u00f3n en las comunicaciones por sat\u00e9lite (satcom). A medida que crece la demanda de ancho de banda satelital, las bandas de radiofrecuencia tradicionales de satcom est\u00e1n experimentando cuellos de botella. La comunicaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser trae 1000 veces m\u00e1s datos, 10 veces m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que la red actual. Los enlaces l\u00e1ser tambi\u00e9n tienen la ventaja de evitar la interferencia y la detecci\u00f3n, en comparaci\u00f3n con las frecuencias de radio ya sobrecargadas, son extremadamente dif\u00edciles de interceptar debido a un haz mucho m\u00e1s estrecho. Por lo tanto, los terminales l\u00e1ser pueden ser m\u00e1s livianos, consumir menos energ\u00eda y ofrecer una seguridad a\u00fan mejor que la radio.<\/p>\n<p>Cofinanciado por Airbus y VDL Group, el
