Con este aparato, la compa\u00f1\u00eda cumple con el plan de expansi\u00f3n trazado a principios de a\u00f1o, que conllevaba incorporar a la flota cinco Boeing 737 y cinco Boeing 787. Con los \u00faltimos Boeing 787, ya son 23 las unidades disponibles de este modelo para la operativa de largo radio.<\/p>\n<p>La incorporaci\u00f3n de este Boeing 787 adicional permite hacer frente al notable incremento de la actividad registrado a lo largo de todo el a\u00f1o, reflejado en la recuperaci\u00f3n de rutas y el incremento de frecuencias en las conexiones con algunos de los destinos m\u00e1s importantes para Air Europa. Asimismo, refuerza el s\u00f3lido papel estrat\u00e9gico de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en el hub de Madrid-Barajas, donde es un actor clave en la conectividad entre Europa y Am\u00e9rica. De esta forma, la flota, que se sit\u00faa ya en niveles de unidades disponibles similares a 2019, se consolida con modelos dotados de mayor capacidad y m\u00e1s sostenibles, al tiempo que se prepara para seguir ampliando su operativa en 2023.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de 2022, la aerol\u00ednea ha completado un importante proceso de unificaci\u00f3n de flota en torno a dos de las aeronaves m\u00e1s avanzadas y eficientes del mercado: los Boeing 787 Dreamliner y los Boeing 737.
