Panam\u00e1 como los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s competitivos <\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57fe7e1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57fe7e1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>El n\u00famero de pasajeros transportados por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea cay\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 90% entre marzo y abril de 2020 en la regi\u00f3n y es justo decir que pocos sectores de la econom\u00eda se vieron igual de afectados por la pandemia.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora que el mundo comienza a reconfigurarse es necesario contar con las herramientas que cimienten ese camino, raz\u00f3n por la cual, Amadeus y la Asociaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Transporte A\u00e9reo (ALTA) presentan el \u00cdndice de Competitividad del Transporte A\u00e9reo en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe 2022, el cual, en su segunda edici\u00f3n, estudia la competitividad de la regi\u00f3n y qu\u00e9 acciones se pueden tomar para generar condiciones m\u00e1s atractivas para atraer inversiones, as\u00ed como facilitar la llegada del turismo en la regi\u00f3n del mundo con mejores \u00edndices de recuperaci\u00f3n de pasajeros prepandemia.<\/p>\n<p>Los datos de inteligencia de Amadeus, a trav\u00e9s de la herramienta Amadeus Demand360\u00ae, se\u00f1alan que, en septiembre de 2022, se alcanz\u00f3 101% del flujo de pasajeros de 2019, superando a Norteam\u00e9rica (96%). Mientras que algunos pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n ya superaron sus niveles 2019, como el caso de M\u00e9xico (14% por encima de sus niveles 2019 en pasajeros internacionales), Rep\u00fablica Dominicana (24%) y Colombia (13%). Parte importante de la recuperaci\u00f3n de estos pa\u00edses, y de la regi\u00f3n en general, fue el conjunto de elementos como costos, requisitos, precios y accesibilidad que mezclados los han catapultado a la preferencia de los usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las conclusiones del \u00edndice de competitividad, los tres pa\u00edses m\u00e1s competitivos resultaron ser M\u00e9xico, Brasil y Panam\u00e1. M\u00e9xico sobresale por su alto nivel de conectividad y su pol\u00edtica de transporte a\u00e9reo, al igual que los mercados a los que puede acceder un ciudadano mexicano sin necesidad de Visa. Por otro lado, Brasil es muy competitivo por la baja tasa de cargos aeroportuarios. De igual manera, cuenta con una de las autoridades de aviaci\u00f3n civil mejor calificadas por la OCDE. Y Panam\u00e1 cuenta con una alta conectividad que considera rutas internacionales, n\u00famero de aerol\u00edneas y n\u00famero de frecuencias. Adem\u00e1s, este pa\u00eds cuenta con proyectos de SAF y su autoridad de aviaci\u00f3n es la tercera mejor de la regi\u00f3n seg\u00fan la OCDE.<\/p>\n<p>A la par de dar esta visi\u00f3n panor\u00e1mica, uno de los prop\u00f3sitos del \u00cdndice de Competitividad del Transporte A\u00e9reo en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe 2022 es que los actores de este sector puedan trabajar colaborativamente en implementar las medidas m\u00e1s competitivas para que la industria sea sustentable financieramente, para que m\u00e1s personas puedan hacer uso del transporte a\u00e9reo y para que los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n se beneficien de los ingresos y empleos generados directa, indirecta e inducidamente por el sector. Para lograr lo anterior, la competitividad en el transporte a\u00e9reo es vital.<\/p>\n<p>Por esta raz\u00f3n, los factores analizados en el \u00cdndice son aquellos que se considera tienen un peso e impacto inmediato en la operaci\u00f3n de las aerol\u00edneas y en el bienestar de la industria en general. Estos elementos son los impuestos al precio del boleto, conectividad, potencial del mercado, precio del combustible, afluencia de pasajeros, accesibilidad a trav\u00e9s de visados, as\u00ed como calidad y costos aeroportuarios, entre otros. Algunos de los datos relevantes que arroja este estudio se refiere a los pa\u00edses que se han recuperado con mayor rapidez tras la pandemia; por ejemplo y de acuerdo con este \u00edndice, M\u00e9xico es el pa\u00eds con pol\u00edticas que m\u00e1s impulsaron la aviaci\u00f3n luego del impacto del COVID-19, seguido por Costa Rica y El Salvador.<\/p>\n<p>Otro indicador importante para impulsar la recuperaci\u00f3n son los costos aeroportuarios. En este rubro, el aeropuerto de menor costo para los pasajeros es Kingston en Jamaica, el cual cobra cinco d\u00f3lares. A esta terminal le sigue Brasil, con varios aeropuertos cuya tasa es en promedio de 11.6 d\u00f3lares. Pasando el rango de los 20 d\u00f3lares se encuentra Santiago de Chile, el cual cuenta con una tasa de 25 d\u00f3lares y el principal aeropuerto de Per\u00fa, Lima con 28.6 d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>El costo del boleto tambi\u00e9n representa un componente vital, pues se trata de una importante \u201cpuerta de entrada a los pa\u00edses\u201d. Este puede ser impactado por diversos impuestos y agregados, que disparen su valor, al respecto, el \u00edndice destaca a Colombia, que tiene actualmente un impuesto sobre las ventas que fue reducido temporalmente de 19% al 5% como medida para fomentar el turismo durante la pandemia. A partir de 2023, tal impuesto volver\u00e1 a sus niveles de 19%. El estudio demuestra que eliminar cargos no relacionados con aviaci\u00f3n en la tarifa a\u00e9rea contribuye a tener un pa\u00eds m\u00e1s competitivo, traer los beneficios econ\u00f3micos y sociales que genera la aviaci\u00f3n para las personas y para el desarrollo de los pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>El \u00cdndice de Competitividad del Transporte A\u00e9reo en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe 2022 es un term\u00f3metro de los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n y un espacio para buscar oportunidades de mejora con el fin de que la aviaci\u00f3n en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe contin\u00fae su camino hacia el crecimiento tan anhelado.
