competitiva mediante avances en reducir los costos por impuestos y tasas a los pasajes y de crear regulaciones que incentiven el crecimiento de la industria.<\/em><\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7ca99e6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7ca99e6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>En el panel Aerol\u00edneas de Bajo Costo (LLCs) de Am\u00e9rica Latina en la Era Post Pand\u00e9mica, que se realiz\u00f3 en el marco del ALTA AGM &amp; Airline Leaders Forum, participaron Estuardo Ortiz, CEO JetSMART, F\u00e9lix Antelo, CEO Viva Air, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Dougnac, CEO Sky Airline, Mauricio Sana, CEO Flybondi y Eduardo Lombana, CEO Wingo, quienes analizaron oportunidades para en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los ejecutivos coincidieron en que la regi\u00f3n tiene la gran oportunidad de desarrollar regulaciones que estimulen el crecimiento de este segmento en igualdad de condiciones y que es necesario revisar las tasas, cargos y costos que hoy en d\u00eda son un obst\u00e1culo en muchos mercados.<\/p>\n<p>Eduardo Lombarda, CEO de Wingo, destaca que registran 200% de crecimiento en las sillas disponibles, duplicaron la flota e incrementaron el portafolio de vuelos. <em>\u201cSin embargo la posici\u00f3n ser\u00e1 de mucha cautela. Esta es una industria que si uno termina muy sobre dimensionado puede destruir valor muy r\u00e1pido y a pesar de que hemos crecidos aceleradamente y que la demanda ha respondido bien creemos que debemos ser muy cuidadosos en el crecimiento y sobre todo muy flexibles\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Dougnac, CEO de Sky Airline, describi\u00f3 que hoy en d\u00eda el mercado de aerol\u00edneas de Low Cost ha crecido, cuenta con jugadores muy competitivos, con flota de aviones moderna y considera que est\u00e1n jugando ahora en una liga muy competitiva. <em>\u201cLa competencia es dura. Es importante adaptarse a los cambios y condiciones, por ejemplo los tipos de cambio son muy vol\u00e1tiles. Llegamos a tener m\u00e1s de 50% del costo total en combustible y la capacidad de adaptarse es clave\u201d<\/em>. Destac\u00f3 que la flexibilidad es clave en el negocio para cuidar al pasajero.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00e9lix Antelo, CEO de Viva Air, resalt\u00f3 que las l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas de bajo costo siempre han salido fortalecidas de las crisis. \u201c<em>Tienen una capacidad de recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y en Colombia, qui\u00e9n lider\u00f3 la recuperaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo, las Low Cost lideraron esa recuperaci\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n hay que reconocer que el lastre que se trae desde hace a\u00f1os sigue siendo grande\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Insisti\u00f3 en que el sector a\u00e9reo y aerocomercial necesita el apoyo de autoridades en temas impositivos, mejores regulaciones. <em>\u201cHay trabajo por hacer entre el sector p\u00fablico y privado\u201d<\/em>. Recalc\u00f3 que en Colombia se elimin\u00f3 el IVA a los pasajes de avi\u00f3n, y si esa medida no se renueva afectar\u00e1 el costo al pasajero.<\/p>\n<p>El CEO de Viva Air plante\u00f3 la necesidad de trabajar en conjunto Gobierno y aerol\u00edneas para impulsar m\u00e1s los viajes en avi\u00f3n y pasar de 0.5 a 2 viajes a\u00e9reos por persona al a\u00f1o en promedio.<\/p>\n<p>Estuardo Ortiz, CEO JetSMART, destac\u00f3 que es positivo que la aviaci\u00f3n en Am\u00e9rica Latina se haya recuperado m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que en otras regiones. Pero agreg\u00f3 que a\u00fan quedan muchos retos. Ortiz dijo que existe el reto de los costos por los impuestos y las tasas de embarque que se imponen a los pasajes en muchos mercados. Detall\u00f3 que hay vuelos internacionales en el que 70% del costo del pasaje est\u00e1 compuesto por impuestos. <em>\u201cSi queremos pensar y so\u00f1ar en una aviaci\u00f3n que conecte a todos los latinoamericanos, como lo ha hecho Europa, no se puede si se va a pagar 150 d\u00f3lares en impuestos por pasaje\u201d<\/em>. Esta aerol\u00ednea tiene el foco de cerrar el a\u00f1o con 60% m\u00e1s asientos disponibles que en 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Mauricio Sana, CEO Flybondi, coincidi\u00f3 que es el momento de tener una mejor regulaci\u00f3n que estimule a las aerol\u00edneas de Low Cost a crecer en la regi\u00f3n. <em>\u201cHace falta pol\u00edticas claras de largo plazo que incentiven el mercado\u201d<\/em>, sostuvo al indicar que est\u00e1n presionados por impuestos y tasas que encarecen los pasajes. Resalt\u00f3 que pese a estos obst\u00e1culos est\u00e1n volando con 86% m\u00e1s pasajeros que en 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Dijo que hay una manera eficiente de operar sin sobrecargar a los pasajeros con recargos de impuestos.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las propuestas que realizaron los l\u00edderes del mercado de LLCs es que se logre una regulaci\u00f3n especial para vuelos regionales que vayan dirigidas a incentivar las operaciones de este segmento, con tasas de embarque e impuestos m\u00e1s bajos.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLo que queremos es que sea m\u00e1s accesible viajar. Hay que pensar en un modelo de ultra bajo costo para la aviaci\u00f3n. C\u00f3mo nos enfocamos en eficiencia y precio\u201d<\/em>, insisti\u00f3 el CEO de JetSMART.<\/p>\n<p>Igualmente el CEO de Sky dijo que no es posible que 50% del costo del pasaje sea de tasas e impuestos que desestimulan la demanda de pasajeros. \u201cNecesitamos estimular el tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros y que existan tasas de embarque regionales m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micas que las internacionales\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMuchos gobiernos y pol\u00edticos siguen pensando que viajar es un lujo, no lo es, es una necesidad y es un servicio esencial en muchos pa\u00edses\u201d, recalc\u00f3 Antelo.<\/p>\n<p>El CEO de Wingo recalc\u00f3 que es fundamental operar en igualdad de condiciones para ser competitivos. \u201cHay una oportunidad enorme de usar mejor la infraestructura aeroportuaria hoy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Para el CEO de Flybondi las aerol\u00edneas de bajo costo no solo estimulan el turismo tambi\u00e9n mueve y moviliza a peque\u00f1as empresas, emprendedores y personas que requieren viajar de forma eficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Los CEOs adem\u00e1s resaltaron que en medio de los retos de costos m\u00e1s competitivos se deben enfocar en lograr una
