en dominios clave como Inteligencia Artificial, los sistemas aut\u00f3nomos, el procesamiento de datos y la gesti\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n, el DSS-IRST es capaz de descubrir y rastrear autom\u00e1ticamente, objetivos sim\u00e9tricos y asim\u00e9tricos para proteger las unidades navales modernas.<\/p>\n<p>En el sal\u00f3n Euronaval de Par\u00eds, Leonardo lanz\u00f3 su nuevo sistema electro-\u00f3ptico para proteger los activos navales de m\u00faltiples amenazas. Se trata del DSS-IRST (Distributed Static Staring-InfraRed Search and Tracking System), una tecnolog\u00eda de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n desarrollada por la compa\u00f1\u00eda para ofrecer a las grandes unidades navales, como el nuevo LHD &amp;quot;Trieste&amp;quot; y los Patrulleros Offshore Multiprop\u00f3sito (PPA) de la Armada italiana, lo m\u00e1s avanzado en t\u00e9rminos de capacidades y rendimiento contra m\u00faltiples amenazas de superficie, misiles y aire, de largo o corto alcance, a lo largo de las \u00e1reas costeras (Littoral) y en mar abierto (Blue Water).<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de los requisitos de un sistema IRST tradicional, la arquitectura modular del nuevo producto de Leonardo permite una cobertura real 360 \u00b0 mediante el posicionamiento de cuatro cabezales de descubrimiento est\u00e1ticos (no giratorios) estabilizado mec\u00e1nicamente. Ligeros y compactos, los SHU ofrecen un rendimiento de alta resoluci\u00f3n, junto con un rango de acci\u00f3n azimut de 90\u00b0 cada uno. La nueva generaci\u00f3n IRST tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 equipada con tres unidades electro-\u00f3ptica (EO) adicionales (Directional Head Unit-DHU) para la confirmaci\u00f3n de las trazas adquiridas, elemento que permite al sistema minimizar las falsas alarmas (False Alarm Rate), la identificaci\u00f3n de los objetivos, as\u00ed como (con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la SHU) la medici\u00f3n activa y pasiva de su distancia.<\/p>\n<p>En particular, gracias a sus nuevas tecnolog\u00edas de hardware y software con las que est\u00e1 equipado, el resultado de las continuas inversiones de Leonardo en \u00e1mbitos clave como la inteligencia artificial, los sistemas aut\u00f3nomos procesamiento de big data y la gesti\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n, el DSS-IRST es capaz de detectar y rastrear simult\u00e1neamente objetivos sim\u00e9tricos (misiles de rozamiento con el mar) y asim\u00e9tricos (MPADS, peque\u00f1as embarcaciones), aplicando autom\u00e1ticamente el mejor algoritmo en funci\u00f3n del tipo de escenario.<\/p>\n<p>El DSS-IRST est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para ser el principal soporte de la navegaci\u00f3n y el conocimiento de la situaci\u00f3n mar\u00edtima, incluso si la unidad naval en la que est\u00e1 integrado est\u00e1 operando en modo silencioso (EMCON). Incluso en este caso, el sistema es capaz de proporcionar v\u00eddeo HD panor\u00e1mico de 360\u00b0 por infrarrojos las 24 horas del d\u00eda con una resoluci\u00f3n de calidad cinematogr\u00e1fica (velocidad de fotogramas) y mantener la capacidad operativa de descubrimiento y seguimiento de m\u00faltiples objetivos, generando rastros en 3D para el CMS, gracias a su funci\u00f3n de medici\u00f3n pasiva de la distancia al objetivo (Passive Ranging). Adem\u00e1s, dada la capacidad de cambiar la elevaci\u00f3n de los SHUs, el DSS IRST puede tambi\u00e9n se puede utilizar para apoyar las operaciones de b\u00fasqueda y rescate (SAR) o para la vigilancia anti-intrusi\u00f3n portuaria.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de las cuatro unidades principales de b\u00fasqueda y las tres unidades principales direccionales, el sistema de b\u00fasqueda y seguimiento de infrarrojos est\u00e1ticos distribuidos de Leonardo, se compone principalmente de dos unidades de gesti\u00f3n de datos y video y la unidad de consola local (opcional).
