M\u00e1s de la mitad de estas aeronaves llegar\u00e1n en respuesta a la\u00a0 creciente demanda, mientras que el 45% apoyar\u00e1 la sustituci\u00f3n de aeronaves menos eficientes en cuanto a consumo de combustible, mejorando significativamente la huella medioambiental de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con la \u00faltima Previsi\u00f3n Global del Mercado (GMF, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) de Airbus, la regi\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe necesitar\u00e1 2.550 aviones de pasajeros y de carga nuevos, de los cuales 2.330 ser\u00e1n de pasillo \u00fanico y 220 de fuselaje ancho.<\/p>\n<p>De 2002 a 2019 el tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros en Am\u00e9rica Latina casi se ha triplicado y se espera que se duplique en las pr\u00f3ximas dos d\u00e9cadas, pasando de 0,44 viajes anuales per c\u00e1pita en 2019 a 0,86 viajes anuales per c\u00e1pita en 2041. Los \u00edndices de viajes per c\u00e1pita en Argentina, Brasil y Chile ser\u00e1n a\u00fan mayores, duplic\u00e1ndose.<\/p>\n<p>La creciente tendencia a viajar en avi\u00f3n est\u00e1 impulsada por el crecimiento previsto de la clase media y la evoluci\u00f3n de los modelos de negocio de las aerol\u00edneas, que hacen m\u00e1s accesibles los viajes en avi\u00f3n. Para 2041, se espera que la clase media alcance los 500 millones de personas, lo que representa el 67% de la poblaci\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien la pandemia del COVID-19 provoc\u00f3 una ca\u00edda de cuatro a\u00f1os en el tr\u00e1fico de\u00a0 pasajeros, se espera que la regi\u00f3n se recupere totalmente entre 2023 y 2025. El tr\u00e1fico de\u00a0 pasajeros que vuelan de origen a destino (O&amp;D) en Am\u00e9rica Latina, aumentar\u00e1 en los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os en un 3,7% anual, duplic\u00e1ndose en los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os. El tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico crecer\u00e1 a un mayor ritmo, del 4,0% anual, mientras que el tr\u00e1fico intra Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe crecer\u00e1 un 3,2%.<\/p>\n<p>Para hacer volar esta creciente flota, se prev\u00e9 que 38.000 nuevos pilotos y 38.000 t\u00e9cnicos necesitar\u00e1n ser capacitados durante los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os en Am\u00e9rica Latina, lo que representar\u00e1 ingresos por servicios de 13.000 millones de d\u00f3lares en 2041.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus ha vendido m\u00e1s de 1.150 aviones y tiene una cartera de pedidos de casi 500 aeronaves y m\u00e1s de 700 en funcionamiento en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, lo que representa casi el 60% de la cuota de mercado de la flota en servicio.
