Cap\u00edtulo 11 en Estados Unidos al cual ingres\u00f3 en mayo de 2020 tras el fuerte impacto de la pandemia. Dicho proceso le permitir\u00e1 al grupo emerger m\u00e1s \u00e1gil, con una estructura de costos m\u00e1s competitiva, una liquidez adecuada para enfrentar el futuro, con aproximadamente US$10.300 millones en equity, y una deuda cercana a los US$6.900 millones. En dicha fecha, LATAM Airlines Group S.A. (LATAM) entregar\u00e1 las acciones y los bonos convertibles a los accionistas y acreedores seg\u00fan corresponda, y pagar\u00e1 ciertas obligaciones como el Junior DIP y otros fees como se establece en el Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, LATAM anuncia que tras finalizar su periodo de opci\u00f3n preferente (\u201cPOP\u201d), la segunda vuelta (\u201cSegunda Vuelta\u201d) y la elecci\u00f3n por parte de los acreedores de las alternativas de recupero contempladas bajo el Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n, LATAM envi\u00f3 los avisos de fondeo a las partes soportantes para concretar la recepci\u00f3n de los US$5.400 millones de nuevos fondos detallados en el Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En esa l\u00ednea, LATAM informa el resultado de la elecci\u00f3n de los acreedores de la Clase 5 con respecto a los bonos convertibles C que requer\u00edan suscripci\u00f3n con nuevos fondos. Finalmente, los acreedores no soportantes suscribieron 36.215.217 bonos convertibles C.<\/p>\n<p>Luego de consideradas las referidas elecciones por parte de los acreedores, as\u00ed como los resultados informados ayer del POP y la Segunda Vuelta, el remanente de acciones y bonos convertibles no suscritos que consideran un aporte de nuevos fondos es de 31.349.388.220 acciones, 735.864.454 bonos convertibles B y 6.827.128.295 bonos convertibles C. Dicho remanente deber\u00e1 ser suscrito por las partes soportantes del Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n con sujeci\u00f3n a la normativa legal y reglamentar\u00eda aplicable.<\/p>\n<p>Al respecto, cabe recordar que todos los instrumentos contemplados en el Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n y el remanente por colocar est\u00e1n completamente respaldados por los accionistas soportantes (Delta Air Lines, Qatar Airways, Grupo Cueto) y por los acreedores soportantes (grupo Evercore y ciertos tenedores de bonos locales), asegurando que LATAM contar\u00e1 con los fondos necesarios para salir exitosamente del proceso de Cap\u00edtulo 11.
