destinos.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>M\u00e1s de 140 aviones cargueros de LATAM Cargo despegaron desde Colombia y Ecuador para transportar flores hacia el mundo y dar vida a la temporada 2019 de San Valent\u00edn, \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o que junto al D\u00eda de las Madres (abril y mayo) son las temporadas peak de exportaci\u00f3n internacional de flores. Rosas rojas, rosadas, bouquets mixtos, claveles, pompones, lirios, gypsophila y follajes fueron los protagonistas de la temporada que se inici\u00f3 la semana del 14 de enero y finaliz\u00f3 el pasado 8 de febrero con m\u00e1s de 9.000 toneladas de flores transportadas.<\/p>\n<p>Durante las cuatro semanas previas a San Valent\u00edn LATAM Cargo transport\u00f3 flores desde Colombia, espec\u00edficamente desde Bogot\u00e1 y Medell\u00edn, y desde Quito en Ecuador, hacia Norteam\u00e9rica, Europa, Asia, Sudam\u00e9rica y Ocean\u00eda, conectividad que fue factible gracias a los m\u00e1s de 140 destinos que integran la red de LATAM Cargo y que le permiten unir Latinoam\u00e9rica con el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Para satisfacer las necesidades de sus clientes, LATAM Cargo empresa l\u00edder en el transporte de carga a\u00e9rea desde, hacia y entre Latinoam\u00e9rica, aument\u00f3 la frecuencia de viajes cargueros en Colombia de 12 (6 desde Bogot\u00e1, 6 desde Medell\u00edn), a 23 vuelos durante la semana con mayor demanda. Algo similar ocurri\u00f3 en Ecuador, pasando de 10 vuelos cargueros a 31 frecuencias en la semana peak. En suma, la operaci\u00f3n lleg\u00f3 a ser 2,4 veces mayor que una semana regular, transportando en total 4.180 toneladas de flores provenientes de Colombia y 4.920 de Ecuador.<\/p>\n<p>El principal pa\u00eds consumidor de flores de la temporada fue Estados Unidos, cobrando especial relevancia la ciudad de Miami al recibir 8.050 toneladas equivalentes al 88% de las flores transportadas por LATAM Cargo durante San Valent\u00edn, cerca del doble respecto de un periodo normal. Miami es uno de los hubs de distribuci\u00f3n m\u00e1s importantes del mundo, en el que se encuentra la base de las operaciones cargueras de LATAM Airlines Group.<\/p>\n<p>Le sigue \u00c1msterdam (Los Pa\u00edses Bajos) con 500 toneladas (6%) y luego, en menor proporci\u00f3n, Hong Kong, Shangh\u00e1i y Pek\u00edn (China), Madrid (Espa\u00f1a) y Paris (Francia). Tambi\u00e9n se transport\u00f3 flores hacia Nueva York (USA), Santiago (Chile) y Nueva Zelanda, entre otros destinos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTanto la celebraci\u00f3n de San Valent\u00edn como el d\u00eda de la madre son temporadas peaks en las que LATAM Cargo refleja su liderazgo en Latinoam\u00e9rica, ejecutando con \u00e9xito una operaci\u00f3n de alta complejidad. Le sigue el Oriente Antioque\u00f1o (25%) y luego la producci\u00f3n se reparte en distintas zonas del pa\u00eds. En la sabana destaca el municipio de Madrid con la mayor cantidad de hect\u00e1reas sembradas, pero tambi\u00e9n Funza, El Rosal, Ch\u00eda, Cajic\u00e1, Facatativ\u00e1, Tocancip\u00e1 y Tenjo se posicionan como zonas con alta producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La Ceja, Rionegro, Guarne, La Uni\u00f3n, El Carmen de Viboral y el corregimiento de Santa Elena son las zonas que destacan en el oriente Antioque\u00f1o, cobrando especial relevancia La Ceja.<\/p>\n<p>En Ecuador las principales zonas de cultivo son Cayambe y El Quinche desde donde se da casi el 60% de la producci\u00f3n de rosas; y Latacunga, con cerca de 1.000 hect\u00e1reas sembradas.
