Unidos anunciaron que el Tribunal de Quiebras de Estados Unidos para el Distrito Sur de Nueva York aprob\u00f3 el Plan de Reorganizaci\u00f3n del grupo presentado por LATAM en el contexto de su procedimiento de reorganizaci\u00f3n bajo el Cap\u00edtulo 11.<\/p>\n<p>Respaldado por casi todos los acreedores de LATAM, el Plan es el resultado de meses de negociaciones entre las principales partes interesadas, el cual consider\u00f3 incluso un extenso periodo de mediaci\u00f3n. El Plan cumple con los requisitos legales de Estados Unidos y Chile. La orden de confirmaci\u00f3n emitida el 20 de junio de 2022 por la Corte de los Estados Unidos representa el \u00faltimo hito en dicho pa\u00eds del proceso del Cap\u00edtulo 11 iniciado por LATAM para garantizar su sostenibilidad a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEstamos muy satisfechos con la confirmaci\u00f3n del juez de nuestro plan de reestructuraci\u00f3n. Este es un paso muy importante en el proceso para salir del cap\u00edtulo 11 y continuaremos trabajando intensamente para concluir los restantes pasos durante los pr\u00f3ximos meses\u201d<\/em>, dijo Roberto Alvo, CEO de LATAM Airlines Group S.A.<\/p>\n<p>LATAM ahora se enfoca en la conclusi\u00f3n de las etapas pendientes en Chile, que incluyen la Junta Extraordinaria de Accionistas para aprobar la nueva estructura de capital, el registro de acciones y bonos convertibles en la Comisi\u00f3n del Mercado Financiero (CMF) y la Oferta de Derechos Preferentes, los que ser\u00e1n ofrecidos conforme a la ley de modo preferente a todos los accionistas que quieran participar de la nueva estructura de capital y as\u00ed evitar las consecuencias de la diluci\u00f3n de propiedad que conlleva el aumento de capital que se contempla.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que sea efectivo, el Plan de LATAM inyectar\u00e1 aproximadamente US$8 mil millones a trav\u00e9s de una combinaci\u00f3n de aumento de capital, la emisi\u00f3n de bonos convertibles y nueva deuda.
