Adem\u00e1s, su importancia ha sido mayor en medio de la crisis en la cadena log\u00edstica, afectada por el transporte mar\u00edtimo de carga, algo que ha llevado a operadores de la regi\u00f3n a pensar en adaptarse r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n<p>Un factor adicional que contribuy\u00f3 a esta demanda fue la falta de aviones de pasajeros volando internacionalmente durante la pandemia del COVID-19. Pre-Covid aproximadamente el 50% del total de la carga a\u00e9rea se transportaba en la bodega de los aviones de pasajeros. Esto sumado a lo anterior,\u00a0 ha provocado un boom de conversiones y un mayor uso de los aviones cargueros. En este escenario, el Airbus A330 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) est\u00e1 convirti\u00e9ndose en una soluci\u00f3n efectiva.<\/p>\n<p>Al igual que en el resto del mundo, el transporte a\u00e9reo de mercanc\u00edas en Am\u00e9rica Latina se encuentra en una fuerte tendencia al alza, ya que hasta febrero de 2022, el mercado de carga internacional de esta regi\u00f3n creci\u00f3, en la comparativa anual, en casi 22% en t\u00e9rminos de tonelada de carga-kil\u00f3metros (RTK, en ingl\u00e9s), recuperando pr\u00e1cticamente los niveles de 2019, de acuerdo con los datos m\u00e1s actualizados de la IATA.<\/p>\n<p>Como resultado de esta\u00a0 nueva demanda algunas aerol\u00edneas cargueras de la regi\u00f3n han formalizado nuevos pedidos para expandir sus flotas con aeronaves dedicadas a este segmento o a aviones reconvertidos, como el A330P2F de Airbus. Este ofrece a los operadores un 20 por ciento menos de consumo de combustible y una carga \u00fatil hasta un 30 por ciento mayor que la de los cargueros de la generaci\u00f3n anterior.<\/p>\n<p>En el primer trimestre de 2022, las principales aerol\u00edneas mexicanas cargueras registraron un crecimiento en los niveles de carga acumulada transportada de casi 10% en operaciones dom\u00e9sticas, de acuerdo con datos de las autoridades aeron\u00e1uticas locales. En este sentido, la aerol\u00ednea mexicana <em>mas<\/em> fue uno de los primeros operadores cargueros en Am\u00e9rica Latina en anunciar nuevos pedidos para responder a la demanda del mercado, seleccionando al A330-200P2F y A330-300P2F como aliado para contribuir a su estrategia de crecimiento.<\/p>\n<p>Lo que hace que el A330P2F sea el avi\u00f3n de carga predilecto para el mundo actual y las expectativas del mercado de los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os es su versatilidad y potencia, pues cuenta con dos versiones (A330-200P2F y A330-300P2F). Adem\u00e1s, tiene una capacidad m\u00e1xima de carga \u00fatil de m\u00e1s de 60 toneladas y una autonom\u00eda de vuelo de hasta 7,780 km, lo que permitir\u00eda abrir mercados directos entre Am\u00e9rica Latina y Europa, o conectar la regi\u00f3n con Asia de una manera m\u00e1s optimizada, a trav\u00e9s de los EE.UU. o el viejo continente. Y gracias a su similitud, ambas versiones pueden beneficiarse de una red establecida de capacitaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento, y operar de la manera m\u00e1s eficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, el A330 ofrece una plataforma muy s\u00f3lida para la conversi\u00f3n de aviones de carga, prueba de ello es que se han pedido m\u00e1s de 1,600 A330 y se han entregado m\u00e1s de 1,300 desde su entrada en servicio, lo que proporciona una gran fuente de aviones para apoyar el programa de conversi\u00f3n durante los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prensa
