<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>La aerol\u00ednea oper\u00f3 un vuelo m\u00e1s con SAF de Los \u00c1ngeles a la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>En 2010 Aerom\u00e9xico fue pionera en el uso de SAF en M\u00e9xico.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fbfe831 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3fbfe831\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>En el marco de la Cumbre de las Am\u00e9ricas, Aerom\u00e9xico se adhiri\u00f3 a la iniciativa liderada por Boeing y la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Transporte A\u00e9reo (IATA por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) para impulsar la producci\u00f3n y uso de Combustible Sostenible de Aviaci\u00f3n (SAF), como parte del compromiso de la industria a nivel global para alcanzar cero emisiones netas en 2050, del cual Aerom\u00e9xico es parte.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n la aerol\u00ednea adquiri\u00f3 6,500 litros de SAF para operar el vuelo AM647 que cubri\u00f3 la ruta Los \u00c1ngeles &#8211; Ciudad de M\u00e9xico el domingo 5 de junio. El vuelo redujo casi 3.7 toneladas de CO2, equivalente a que m\u00e1s de 500 coches dejen de circular por un d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Esta es la primera vez que Aerom\u00e9xico usa SAF en uno de sus Boeing 787 Dreamliner, que adem\u00e1s es uno de los aviones m\u00e1s amigables con el medio ambiente, pues disminuye el ruido fuera de la cabina hasta en un 60% comparado con otras aeronaves y las emisiones de di\u00f3xido de carbono son menores hasta en un 25%.<\/p>\n<p>En 2010 Aerom\u00e9xico fue pionera en el uso de SAF en M\u00e9xico y despu\u00e9s fue la primera aerol\u00ednea en Latinoam\u00e9rica en realizar vuelos de larga distancia con dicho combustible. La compa\u00f1\u00eda forma parte de la iniciativa Clean Skies for Tomorrow del World Economic Forum, para que en 2030 el 10% del combustible empleado en la aviaci\u00f3n sea SAF.<\/p>\n<p>En este marco, tambi\u00e9n se llevaron a cabo dos mesas redondas en las que se habl\u00f3 sobre el camino que debe seguir la industria para alcanzar el objetivo de las cero emisiones netas, as\u00ed como la relevancia de crear pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas en la regi\u00f3n que permitan la comercializaci\u00f3n eficaz y transici\u00f3n hacia el uso de SAF.<\/p>\n<p>El SAF es un tipo de combustible fabricado a partir de plantas no comestibles, residuos agr\u00edcolas, forestales, municipales o desechos de plantas industriales, entre otras. Reduce las emisiones de carbono durante su ciclo de vida hasta un 80%, por lo que su uso representa una posibilidad m\u00e1s inmediata para disminuir el CO2. Otros beneficios son que puede mezclarse con el combustible a base de petr\u00f3leo y no se requiere modificar los aviones, motores o la infraestructura de abastecimiento.<\/p>\n<p>En alianza con Boeing, siete aerol\u00edneas de todo el mundo se unieron a esta iniciativa adquiriendo un total de 379 mil litros de SAF para los vuelos comerciales que salieron del aeropuerto de Los \u00c1ngeles durante la Cumbre, lo que redujo m\u00e1s de 214 toneladas de CO2, equivalente a que casi 29,500 coches dejan de circular por un d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prensa
