proyecta crecer 75% en el transporte de pasajeros este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>La aerol\u00ednea pasar\u00e1 de transportar 1 mill\u00f3n 424 mil pasajeros en 2021 a 2,5 millones de viajeros este a\u00f1o, con un considerable aumento de rutas, de 57 a 74, y un cubrimiento del 90% del territorio nacional.<\/p>\n<p>Para hacerlo la compa\u00f1\u00eda realizar\u00e1 una inversi\u00f3n estimada en 120 millones de d\u00f3lares, a trav\u00e9s de leasing, en seis nuevas aeronaves ATR, equipos que llegar\u00e1n en los pr\u00f3ximos tres meses y que sumar\u00e1n a los 18 existentes para completar una flota de 24 aviones.<\/p>\n<p>Con el fortalecimiento de la flota, la aerol\u00ednea aterrizar\u00e1 en 11 nuevos destinos con lo que alcanzar\u00e1 42 poblaciones que no cuentan con un servicio de transporte a\u00e9reo regular de pasajeros, y requieren ser atendidos por la alta demanda de sus habitantes<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLa llegada de transporte a\u00e9reo a zonas que hoy no cuentan con este servicio impulsar\u00e1 el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico y el desarrollo de esas regiones al facilitar las conexiones de negocios con las capitales<\/em>\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Alfonso \u00c1vila Velandia, presidente de EasyFly.<\/p>\n<p>Con esta decisi\u00f3n la compa\u00f1\u00eda consolida su operaci\u00f3n a las diferentes regiones del pa\u00eds cubriendo rutas a ciudades intermedias sin conexi\u00f3n a\u00e9rea, desde su centro de acopio en Medell\u00edn y desde otras capitales del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los nuevos destinos a los que volar\u00e1 la aerol\u00ednea se encuentran Bah\u00eda Solano, un para\u00edso tur\u00edstico en el Choc\u00f3; Tol\u00fa \u2013 Cove\u00f1as, con una de las playas m\u00e1s hermosas de la Costa Caribe; Pitalito, en el Huila, una ciudad intermedia cerca al basti\u00f3n arqueol\u00f3gico de San Agust\u00edn y con gran movimiento por el cultivo del caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, La Macarena, lugar reconocido mundialmente por el r\u00edo de varios colores; Buenaventura, el mayor puerto colombiano y Villagarz\u00f3n, en Putumayo, est\u00e1n entre los nuevos destinos que cubrir\u00e1 la aerol\u00ednea en los pr\u00f3ximos meses.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEstamos haciendo patria. El \u00e9xito de este modelo de aviaci\u00f3n consiste en la facilidad de conexi\u00f3n que ofrece la operaci\u00f3n desde el aeropuerto Olaya Herrera en Medell\u00edn porque se gana tiempo y los vuelos se conectan de origen a destino, sin escalas\u201d<\/em>, explic\u00f3 \u00c1vila Velandia.<\/p>\n<p>Para enfrentar los mayores costos del combustible, &#8211; entre abril del a\u00f1o pasado y de este a\u00f1o subi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 100 %-, la inflaci\u00f3n y el elevado precio del d\u00f3lar, que afectan la operaci\u00f3n, la aerol\u00ednea trabajar\u00e1 en ser a\u00fan m\u00e1s eficiente.<\/p>\n<p>En ese sentido EasyFly aumentar\u00e1 el n\u00famero de vuelos por avi\u00f3n, incrementar\u00e1 la ocupaci\u00f3n de los aviones del 73 % al 76 % y con el visto bueno de las autoridades aeron\u00e1uticas espera llevar la operaci\u00f3n a\u00e9rea m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las seis de la tarde en algunos aeropuertos.<\/p>\n<p>Con estas decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas las proyecciones de ingresos de la compa\u00f1\u00eda dar\u00e1n un salto y subir\u00e1n de $317.000 millones en 2021 a $589.000 millones al cierre de 2022, lo que confirma su recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En la misma l\u00ednea las utilidades mostrar\u00e1n un gran dinamismo y se estima que pasar\u00e1n de $5.000 millones el a\u00f1o pasado a alrededor de $60.000 millones este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>El plan de inversiones, sumado al aumento de rutas y al n\u00famero de pasajeros transportados le permitir\u00e1 a la compa\u00f1\u00eda cumplir los compromisos adquiridos con
