El panel cont\u00f3 con la moderaci\u00f3n de Alex de Gunten, vicepresidente senior de Heico y presidente del Comit\u00e9 Directivo de Proveedores de la ALTA.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los temas tratados se encuentran la recuperaci\u00f3n de la industria tras la pandemia, los pr\u00f3ximos momentos de la aviaci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe y los recientes movimientos del mercado, como la consolidaci\u00f3n de empresas a\u00e9reas en grandes grupos. En la apertura del evento, el CEO y director ejecutivo de la ALTA, Jos\u00e9 Ricardo Botelho, cit\u00f3 la importancia de la industria: &#8220;<em>Sin la aviaci\u00f3n no se transporta personas y vida. Sabemos que a donde llega la aviaci\u00f3n lleva desarrollo. De cada 14 empleos generados por la industria, otros 18 empleos indirectos se generan en nuestra regi\u00f3n. Y ese es el resultado del trabajo de todos los aqu\u00ed presentes&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre el futuro de la industria, Hernan Pasman cit\u00f3 posibilidades para la entrada de nuevos modelos de negocio en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, como los grupos ultra low cost. <em>&#8220;Tengo la percepci\u00f3n que tener una empresa de bajo costo que entra de forma individual y en un pa\u00eds en particular es muy dif\u00edcil, ya que el modelo de bajo costo latinoamericano es diferente de los modelos estadounidenses y europeos, por ejemplo. Entonces yo creo en una consolidaci\u00f3n de ese tipo de modelo en grupo para la regi\u00f3n. Para esa industria el costo es todo, adem\u00e1s de la seguridad. Creo que habr\u00e1 una ultra low cost que entrar\u00e1 en Brasil, por ejemplo, pero ahora han vuelto a votar en el Congreso que no se puede cobrar la maleta. Eso significa no tener un bajo costo en ese pa\u00eds&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Para Jos\u00e9 Antonio Montero, el mercado se est\u00e1 recuperando mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de lo que pensaban y en ese momento la estrategia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda es tener mucha flexibilidad en su cantidad de aeronaves y designaci\u00f3n de flota. Sobre la recuperaci\u00f3n, Montero concentr\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n sobre el tema de recorte de costos: <em>&#8220;En momentos como el actual, donde hay presiones inflacionarias en algunas partes del mundo o de recursos materiales o humanos, existe la necesidad de un poco de optimizaci\u00f3n de proveedores para manejar esa inflaci\u00f3n. Este es un tema importante y muy serio para todos nosotros que estamos unidos en la misma industria&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sobre el anuncio de consolidaci\u00f3n de Avianca con Gol Linhas A\u00e9reas, con la creaci\u00f3n del Grupo Abra, Hernan Pasman, coment\u00f3 que es un movimiento natural para la industria: <em>&#8220;Esa consolidaci\u00f3n en Am\u00e9rica Latina era una obviedad y es una buena noticia para la industria, para los pasajeros y para el crecimiento de la regi\u00f3n. Tenemos que recordar que esta es una regi\u00f3n que en los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os se ha triplicado. Y las previsiones dicen que en los pr\u00f3ximos 15 a\u00f1os se va a duplicar, as\u00ed que en 30 \u00f3 35 a\u00f1os tendremos un crecimiento de siete veces la industria&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Julio Gamero, CEO de TAG, confirm\u00f3 que la consolidaci\u00f3n no significa necesariamente una reducci\u00f3n del n\u00famero de compa\u00f1\u00edas en la regi\u00f3n y de operaciones. &#8220;<em>Alcanzamos los niveles de la pandemia y hoy tenemos cerca de 40% m\u00e1s de pasajeros. Tuvimos una r\u00e1pida recuperaci\u00f3n y estamos en un plan de crecimiento muy importante con renovaci\u00f3n de flota. El total de aerol\u00edneas importantes en la regi\u00f3n est\u00e1 creciendo y creo que estamos creando una cadena importante&#8221;<\/em>.
