espacio y aviaci\u00f3n civil han superado recientemente un importante hito durante el cual se revis\u00f3 con \u00e9xito el funcionamiento inicial del servicio.<\/p>\n<p>Utilizado para mejorar el rendimiento de los sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n por sat\u00e9lite para las aplicaciones m\u00e1s cr\u00edticas para la seguridad, como la navegaci\u00f3n y el aterrizaje de aeronaves, el Servicio Europeo de Navegaci\u00f3n por Superposici\u00f3n Geoestacionario (EGNOS) es el sistema regional de aumento basado en sat\u00e9lites (SBAS) de Europa. Esta nueva generaci\u00f3n V3 de EGNOS, actualmente en desarrollo por Airbus, introducir\u00e1 nuevos servicios basados en m\u00faltiples frecuencias de m\u00faltiples constelaciones (GPS, Galileo), e incorporar\u00e1 una sofisticada protecci\u00f3n de seguridad contra ciberataques.<\/p>\n<p>La evaluaci\u00f3n del rendimiento del sistema para los servicios iniciales puso de manifiesto el alto nivel de madurez del dise\u00f1o y su adecuaci\u00f3n para continuar sin problemas la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de navegaci\u00f3n cr\u00edticos, como la aproximaci\u00f3n y el aterrizaje de precisi\u00f3n en toda Europa, independientemente de que los aeropuertos est\u00e9n equipados con costosos sistemas de aterrizaje por instrumentos (lo que no suele ser el caso de los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os). La revisi\u00f3n confirm\u00f3 que EGNOS V3 ofrecer\u00e1 la precisi\u00f3n, continuidad, integridad y disponibilidad necesarias para las operaciones de seguridad de vida hasta la Cat.I, con m\u00e1rgenes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEn esta fase del desarrollo, esta revisi\u00f3n del rendimiento ha demostrado el aumento de los beneficios que EGNOS V3 deber\u00eda aportar a Europa\u201d<\/em>, dijo Didier Flament, jefe de la Divisi\u00f3n EGNOS y SBAS de la ESA. <em>\u201cDado que toda la potencia de esta nueva generaci\u00f3n de EGNOS a\u00fan debe ser calificada en la siguiente fase del proyecto, este primer e importante hito de la fase de Dise\u00f1o Detallado ha cumplido nuestras expectativas en todos los aspectos heredados evaluados.
