Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia (ABACO), Colombia Cuida a Colombia y el Banco de Alimentos de La Guajira, que busca potenciar la cultura, la capacidad artesanal de la comunidad Way\u00fau y al mismo tiempo prevenir las muertes por desnutrici\u00f3n, la desnutrici\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica y sus secuelas.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>A trav\u00e9s de la organizaci\u00f3n Lito y la Fundaci\u00f3n Puntos Verdes, Avianca acumul\u00f3 4.000 puntos, por cuenta de la disposici\u00f3n de residuos electr\u00f3nicos y electr\u00f3nicos, que se convertir\u00e1n en un aporte monetario para la construcci\u00f3n de un comedor comunitario en el marco de Banco de Hilos.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element Fundaci\u00f3n Puntos Verdes, se sumar\u00e1 a la iniciativa \u2018Banco de Hilos\u2019 en La Guajira.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Banco de Hilos\u2019 es un proyecto de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia (ABACO), Colombia Cuida a Colombia y el Banco de Alimentos de La Guajira, que busca potenciar la cultura, la capacidad artesanal de la comunidad Way\u00fau y al mismo tiempo prevenir las muertes por desnutrici\u00f3n, la desnutrici\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica y sus secuelas.<\/p>\n<p>Pese a que La Guajira es un departamento con una cultura y geograf\u00eda \u00fanicas, tambi\u00e9n presenta \u00edndices de seguridad alimentaria alarmantes. El 69,3% de su poblaci\u00f3n tiene dificultades para acceder a una alimentaci\u00f3n diaria, completa y balanceada, mientras que 26,1% de los ni\u00f1os menores de 5 a\u00f1os \u2013 35 mil ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as- tienen desnutrici\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Gesti\u00f3n ambiental con impacto social:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Con el objetivo de optimizar la eficiencia operativa y gestionar de forma integral los recursos naturales de sus actividades para generar valor ambiental y social, tanto para el planeta, como para las comunidades, Avianca ha implementado diferentes iniciativas de Econom\u00eda Circular, que le permitieron valorizar el 38% de los residuos no peligrosos y el 87% de los residuos peligrosos de su operaci\u00f3n en Colombia en el 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Este resultado fue posible a trav\u00e9s de la alianza con la organizaci\u00f3n Lito y la Fundaci\u00f3n Puntos Verdes, que ha permitido el reintegro de toneladas de residuos de aparatos t\u00e9cnicos y electr\u00f3nicos (RAEE\u2019s) a la cadena de valor, reuniendo Puntos Verdes por cada kilogramo de residuo dispuesto al a\u00f1o, que se redimen para apoyar econ\u00f3micamente causas sociales y\/o ambientales en Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy, luego de acumular 4.000 Puntos Verdes a trav\u00e9s de la Fundaci\u00f3n y la organizaci\u00f3n Lito, Avianca se sumar\u00e1 al proyecto \u2018Banco de Hilos\u2019 de ABACO con un aporte monetario que ser\u00e1 destinado a la construcci\u00f3n de un comedor comunitario en la comunidad de Churupa para atender ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as menores de 5 a\u00f1os y madres gestantes y lactantes.<\/p>\n<p>Felipe Andr\u00e9s G\u00f3mez, director de Relaciones Institucionales y Sostenibilidad de Avianca, asegur\u00f3 que: <em>\u201cNos sentimos orgullosos de seguir trabajando por el desarrollo de Colombia y las regiones en las que operamos a trav\u00e9s de nuestra estrategia de Ciudadan\u00eda Corporativa.
