La empresa italiana llevar\u00e1 a cabo el trabajo de desarrollo de las nuevas capacidades de banda ancha y proporcionar\u00e1 las partes centrales de la antena del nuevo radar, APSC (Antenna Power Supply &amp; Control) y su procesador.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo ya es la autoridad de dise\u00f1o del radar ECRS Mk0 E-scan encargado por Kuwait y Qatar, cuyo dise\u00f1o sustenta el ECRS Mk1, y es la autoridad de dise\u00f1o del radar ECRS Mk2 liderado por el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p>HENSOLDT es la autoridad de dise\u00f1o del radar ECRS Mk1, mientras que Airbus Defence &amp; Space integrar\u00e1 el radar en el Eurofighter Typhoon. Leonardo, aprovechando su liderazgo en el consorcio EuroRADAR que produce el ECRS Mk0, est\u00e1 proporcionando facilitadores para que HENSOLDT asuma el papel de liderazgo del ECRS Mk1, reforzando las capacidades a\u00e9reas de combate en tierra de Alemania. La estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n en este proyecto es representativa de la s\u00f3lida asociaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia entre las dos potencias de la electr\u00f3nica de defensa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El radar ECRS Mk1 alem\u00e1n y espa\u00f1ol presenta un receptor multicanal digital y nuevos m\u00f3dulos de recepci\u00f3n de transmisi\u00f3n de banda ancha, lo que mejora la capacidad del Mk0. Adem\u00e1s de la producci\u00f3n de componentes de antena central, APSC y procesador, HENSOLDT ha contratado a Leonardo para realizar trabajos de desarrollo en capacidades de banda ancha que explotar\u00e1n estos nuevos m\u00f3dulos de recepci\u00f3n y transmisi\u00f3n para aumentar el rango de detecci\u00f3n y la precisi\u00f3n del ECRS Mk1.
