El virus no respeta fronteras y es un momento sin precedentes para que los sectores p\u00fablico y privado caminen de la mano.\u201d Julia Simpson, Presidenta y CEO del WTTC<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-72b942d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"72b942d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>De acuerdo con de Consejo Mundial de Viajes y Turismo (WTTC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), el cierre de fronteras ante la nueva cepa del virus de Covid-19 \u201cOmicr\u00f3n\u201d, aunado al rezago en planes de vacunaci\u00f3n en algunos pa\u00edses, dificultan la recuperaci\u00f3n del sector de viajes y turismo, al tiempo que retrasan la reactivaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica global.<\/p>\n<p>El WTTC espera que el gasto internacional en dicho sector aumente un 94 por ciento en 2022. Esto, tras una disminuci\u00f3n del 69.4 por ciento en 2020, a causa de la crisis sanitaria.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, proyecta que la recuperaci\u00f3n global del sector de viajes y turismo acelere en su contribuci\u00f3n al PIB mundial, proyectada para un crecimiento de un 30.7 por ciento en 2021 y un 31.7 por ciento en 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, las restricciones de viaje y el lento desarrollo de los planes de vacunaci\u00f3n, representan un riesgo para el cumplimiento de estas proyecciones.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Simpson, Presidenta y CEO del WTTC, destac\u00f3 que el virus no respeta fronteras y es un momento sin precedentes para que los sectores p\u00fablico y privado caminen de la mano.<\/p>\n<p>Simpson reiter\u00f3 que el cierre de fronteras no funciona, ya que<em>, \u201cel virus no respeta divisiones entre pa\u00edses y los viajeros est\u00e1n cansados de las restricciones que contin\u00faan cambiando err\u00e1ticamente. Basemos el riesgo en torno al estado de salud de un individuo en lugar de poner a pa\u00edses enteros en cuarentena\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, consider\u00f3 fundamental acelerar los planes de vacunaci\u00f3n en todo el mundo. <em>\u201cNo podemos esperar cinco a\u00f1os para que 4,000 millones de personas reciban su primera dosis\u201d<\/em>, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, Simpson reiter\u00f3 que resulta prioritario seguir rigurosamente las medidas de bioseguridad que se\u00f1ala la OMS, tales como el uso de cubre bocas, distanciamiento social, uso de alcohol en gel, as\u00ed como la aplicaci\u00f3n pruebas r\u00e1pidas regulares.<\/p>\n<p>El WTTC ha identificado medidas que acelerar\u00edan la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica mundial, \u00e9stas incluyen cuatro normas simplificadas para las personas totalmente vacunadas que les permitan viajar libremente a cualquier lugar, independientemente de su origen o destino final:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Permitir libre movimiento a todos los viajeros totalmente vacunados, independientemente de su origen o destino, eliminando los sistemas de categor\u00edas<\/li>\n<li>La implementaci\u00f3n de soluciones digitales que permiten a todos los viajeros demostrar f\u00e1cilmente su estado COVID, lo que a su vez acelera el proceso en las fronteras de todo el mundo.<\/li>\n<li>Reconocimiento de todas las vacunas autorizadas por la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y\/o cualquiera de las Autoridades Reguladoras Estrictas (SRA).<\/li>\n<li>Acuerdo de todas las autoridades pertinentes de que los viajes internacionales son seguros con protocolos mejorados de salud y seguridad.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>En 2020, a causa de la crisis sanitaria, se perdieron m\u00e1s de 62 millones de empleos en el sector de viajes y turismo, y de acuerdo con el WTTC, si estas cuatro medidas se llevan a cabo, la econom\u00eda global y los empleos podr\u00edan mejorar significativamente, con una recuperaci\u00f3n del 20.1 por ciento para el
