class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>El ministerio de Defensa espa\u00f1ol ha firmado un pedido oficial para la adquisici\u00f3n de tres aviones cisterna y de transporte multimisi\u00f3n Airbus A330 MRTT (Multi-Role Tanker Transport).<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan los t\u00e9rminos del acuerdo la primera entrega, en versi\u00f3n de transporte, tendr\u00e1 lugar en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas, seguida de su conversi\u00f3n a MRTT en 2024. La entrega del primer avi\u00f3n completamente convertido en tanquero est\u00e1 prevista en 2023 y la de la tercera y \u00faltima unidad en 2025.<\/p>\n<p>El contrato incluye el soporte asociado tal como las piezas de repuesto, los equipos de apoyo en tierra, la formaci\u00f3n y el soporte en servicio hasta el vencimiento del acuerdo.<\/p>\n<p>Los tres aparatos, que se han adquirido a Iberia, se convertir\u00e1n en aviones cisterna y de transporte militar en las instalaciones de Airbus en Getafe (Espa\u00f1a). Estar\u00e1 equipado con un sistema de repostaje de manguera y cesta de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n y un paquete espec\u00edfico de evacuaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a\u00e9rea (MEDEVAC). El Grupo 45 del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire, ubicado en la base a\u00e9rea de Torrej\u00f3n de Ardoz (Madrid), operar\u00e1 la flota.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCon la incorporaci\u00f3n de los A330 MRTT el Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire espa\u00f1ol adquiere una nueva capacidad clave y contrastada que mejorar\u00e1 y respaldar\u00e1 sus misiones fuera del territorio nacional, as\u00ed como las operaciones de evacuaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a\u00e9rea, en las que el avi\u00f3n ha desempe\u00f1ado un papel fundamental durante la pandemia de Covid-19 en todo el mundo\u201d<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Jean-Brice Dumont, Executive Vice-President Military Aircraft de Airbus.<\/p>\n<p>El A330 MRTT es el \u00fanico avi\u00f3n cisterna y de transporte estrat\u00e9gico de nueva generaci\u00f3n disponible y operativo en la actualidad. La gran capacidad b\u00e1sica de carga de combustible de 111 toneladas \/ 245.000 libras del exitoso avi\u00f3n de pasajeros A330-200, del que se deriva, permite al A330 MRTT desempe\u00f1ar con \u00e9xito misiones de repostaje a\u00e9reo sin necesidad de a\u00f1adir dep\u00f3sitos de combustible adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a su fuselaje ancho, el A330 MRTT tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse como avi\u00f3n de transporte capaz de trasladar hasta 300 soldados o una carga \u00fatil de hasta 45 toneladas (99.000 lb). Adem\u00e1s, puede reconfigurarse f\u00e1cilmente para acomodar estaciones de cuidados convencionales e intensivos para la evacuaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a\u00e9rea (MEDEVAC).<\/p>\n<p>Con m\u00e1s de
