Normand\u00eda, Francia, el d\u00eda D, arroj\u00f3 paracaidistas en la Operaci\u00f3n Market Garden y reabasteci\u00f3 el ciudad sitiada de Bastogne durante la Batalla de las Ardenas, asistir\u00e1 a su Warbirds Over the Beach Air Show, el 2 y 3 de octubre de 2021. Este avi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rico estar\u00e1 abierto para que los asistentes al espect\u00e1culo a\u00e9reo suban a bordo y recorran con los miembros de la tripulaci\u00f3n del Fundaci\u00f3n Tunison, Escuadr\u00f3n del D\u00eda D y Sociedad DC-3.<\/p>\n<p>Este C-47 tambi\u00e9n tiene la distinci\u00f3n de ser el avi\u00f3n l\u00edder del Escuadr\u00f3n del D\u00eda D, una flota de 15 C-47 y DC-3, que vol\u00f3 desde Estados Unidos a Normand\u00eda, Francia, para conmemorar el 75 aniversario de D- Day en 2019. El avi\u00f3n ser\u00e1 llevado a Warbirds Over the Beach con el generoso apoyo del Delegado Barry Knight.
