elementor-clearfix\"><p>La Asociaci\u00f3n de Transporte A\u00e9reo Internacional (IATA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) ha publicado los resultados del transporte a\u00e9reo mundial de carga correspondientes al mes de junio de 2021, que creci\u00f3 un 9,9% respecto a niveles pre-COVID-19 (junio 2019), impulsando el crecimiento del primer semestre hasta un 8%, el mejor dato para el periodo desde 2017 (cuando la industria registr\u00f3 un incremento del 10,2% interanual).<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Con el fin de evitar la comparaci\u00f3n de los resultados mensuales con los datos distorsionados de junio de 2021 y 2020 por el impacto del COVID-19, la comparaci\u00f3n se realiza respecto a junio de 2019 (salvo indicaci\u00f3n contraria), que sigui\u00f3 un comportamiento normalizado.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La demanda global \u2014medida en toneladas de carga por kil\u00f3metro transportadas (CTK*, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s)\u2014 subi\u00f3 un 9,9% en junio de 2021 con respecto a junio de 2019.<\/li>\n<li>El desempe\u00f1o regional var\u00eda de forma significativa. Las aerol\u00edneas norteamericanas contribuyeron con 5,9 puntos porcentuales (pp) al 9,9% de crecimiento registrado en junio; las aerol\u00edneas de Oriente Medio lo hicieron con 2,1 pp; las aerol\u00edneas europeas, con 1,6 pp; las aerol\u00edneas africanas, con 0,5 pp; y las aerol\u00edneas de Asia-Pac\u00edfico, con 0,3 pp. Por el contrario, las aerol\u00edneas latinoamericanas recortaron en 0,5 pp el dato global de junio.<\/li>\n<li>La capacidad global (medida en toneladas de carga por kil\u00f3metro disponibles, ACTK por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) se mantuvo limitada \u201410,8% por debajo de niveles pre-COVID-19 (junio de 2019)\u2014 debido al estacionamiento de la flota de aviones de pasajeros. La capacidad de bodega se situ\u00f3 un 38,9% por debajo del dato de junio de 2019, compensada parcialmente con un aumento del 29,7% de la capacidad de los cargueros dedicados.<\/li>\n<li>Las condiciones econ\u00f3micas subyacentes y la dinamizaci\u00f3n de las cadenas de suministros siguen estimulando la carga a\u00e9rea:\n<ul>\n<li>El \u00edndice de rotaci\u00f3n de inventario de Estados Unidos se encuentra en m\u00ednimos hist\u00f3ricos, lo que indica que las empresas tienen que reponer sus existencias r\u00e1pidamente y recurrir\u00e1n al sector de carga a\u00e9rea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Los \u00edndices de gerentes de compras (PMI, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) \u2014principales indicadores de la demanda de carga a\u00e9rea\u2014 revelan que la confianza empresarial, la producci\u00f3n manufacturera y los nuevos pedidos de exportaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n creciendo a un ritmo acelerado en la mayor\u00eda de las econom\u00edas. No se han materializado las preocupaciones sobre un cambio significativo de los consumidores de bienes a servicios.<\/li>\n<li>La relaci\u00f3n costes-competitividad y la fiabilidad de la carga a\u00e9rea en relaci\u00f3n con el transporte mar\u00edtimo han mejorado. El precio medio de la carga a\u00e9rea respecto al precio del transporte mar\u00edtimo se ha reducido considerablemente. Y la fiabilidad en relaci\u00f3n con la programaci\u00f3n de entregas de los transportistas mar\u00edtimos ha disminuido (40% en mayo, frente al 70%-80% antes de la crisis).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cLa carga a\u00e9rea est\u00e1 pasando por un buen momento a medida que la econom\u00eda global contin\u00faa recuper\u00e1ndose de la crisis del COVID-19. Con la demanda del primer semestre un 8% por encima de niveles pre-crisis, la carga a\u00e9rea es un salvavidas para muchas aerol\u00edneas que siguen viendo como el cierre de fronteras sigue destruyendo su negocio internacional de pasajeros. La capacidad internacional volvi\u00f3 a registrar ca\u00eddas en la regi\u00f3n (-19,8%, respecto a junio de 2019). Si bien la demanda permanece en niveles altos, la regi\u00f3n enfrenta vientos moderados en contra ante la falta de capacidad internacional y unos \u00edndices PMI de manufactura m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles respecto a los registrados en Europa y EE. UU.<\/p>\n<p>Las <strong>aerol\u00edneas norteamericanas<\/strong> registraron un 23,4% de crecimiento en la demanda internacional de junio respecto a junio de 2019. La fortaleza de los \u00edndices PMI de manufactura en Europa sugieren que la din\u00e1mica de los mercados sigue respaldando al sector de carga europeo.<\/p>\n<p>Las <strong>aerol\u00edneas de Oriente Medio<\/strong> registraron un aumento del 17,1% en los vol\u00famenes de carga internacional de junio de 2021, en comparaci\u00f3n con junio de 2019, impulsados por el fuerte desempe\u00f1o en las rutas comerciales Oriente Medio-Asia y Oriente Medio-Norteam\u00e9rica. La capacidad internacional se contrajo un 9%, respecto a junio de 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Las <strong>aerol\u00edneas latinoamericanas<\/strong> experimentaron una ca\u00edda del 22,9% en los vol\u00famenes internacionales de carga de junio (frente al mismo mes de 2019), el peor dato global de crecimiento y peor tambi\u00e9n respecto al mes anterior, debido principalmente, a la p\u00e9rdida de cuota de mercado de las aerol\u00edneas de la regi\u00f3n frente a las l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas de otras regiones.
