elementor-clearfix\"><p>La Asociaci\u00f3n de Transporte A\u00e9reo Internacional (IATA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) ha pedido a los gobiernos que sigan las nuevas directrices globales sobre viajes de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS). La <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.who.int\/iris\/bitstream\/handle\/10665\/342235\/WHO-2019-nCoV-Policy-Brief-Risk-based-international-travel-2021.1-eng.pdf?sequence=1&amp;isAllowed=y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gu\u00eda<\/a><\/strong><\/span> recomienda un &#8220;enfoque basado en riesgos&#8221; para la implementaci\u00f3n de medidas relacionadas con el COVID-19 y los viajes internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>En concreto, la OMS recomienda a los gobiernos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>que la vacuna contra el COVID-19 no sea condici\u00f3n obligatoria para la entrada o salida de un pa\u00eds;<\/li>\n<li>que pueden eliminar las medidas que exigen la presentaci\u00f3n de pruebas COVID-19 y\/o el cumplimiento de cuarentena a los viajeros que tengan la pauta completa de vacunaci\u00f3n o demuestren que se han contagiado por COVID-19 en los \u00faltimos seis meses y est\u00e9n recuperados;<\/li>\n<li>que se establezcan medidas alternativas para las personas no vacunadas, como las pruebas COVID-19, para que puedan realizar viajes internacionales. La OMS recomienda las pruebas RT-PCR o las pruebas de diagn\u00f3stico r\u00e1pido de detecci\u00f3n de ant\u00edgenos (Ag-RDT), seguido por pruebas RT-PCR confirmatorias en casos positivos para este prop\u00f3sito;<\/li>\n<li>que si se implementan requisitos sobre pruebas COVID-19 y\/o cuarentena para los viajeros internacionales, se apoyen en un \u201cenfoque basado en el riesgo\u201d, estableciendo revisiones peri\u00f3dicas con el fin de levantar tales condiciones cuando estos ya no sean necesarios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cSi todos los gobiernos siguen estas recomendaciones de la OMS basadas en el riesgo <\/em><em>\u2014<\/em><em>y de sentido com\u00fan<\/em><em>\u2014<\/em><em>, se podr\u00e1n reanudar los viajes a\u00e9reos con un riesgo m\u00ednimo de importar el coronavirus. Como se\u00f1ala la OMS, y como lo demuestran los datos m\u00e1s recientes sobre los resultados de las pruebas de diagn\u00f3stico en el Reino Unido, los viajeros internacionales no son un grupo de alto riesgo de importaci\u00f3n del COVID-19. De los 1,65 millones de pruebas realizadas a los pasajeros internacionales que han visitado Reino Unido desde febrero, solo el 1,4% dieron positivo en COVID-19.
